One thing that was interesting is that the public offering was supposed to give them enough capital to double the size of the office. Then at the end, they doubled the size of the office.

I've had the opposite experience. The dress shirts have either the right neck but short sleeves, or the right sleeve length but a small neck size. The pants are either large waisted with short inseams, or have a small waist but long inseams.
Dr Coyne-Beasley's assessment doesn't echo Philip Cohen's article at all. Dr Coyne-Beasley is theorizing why boys aren't seeing the positive effects of sports, while Cohen is speculating about why sports cause negative effects in boys. He goes so far as to suggest that sports dehumanize boys.
I like to think he brings a variety pack of pocket squares ready to match up to her lipstick.
Just goes to show you...you give women the vote, and suddenly they start acting like PEOPLE! ;)
The amazing thing is that these guys keep getting customers. It's like psychics where everyone knows it's all a con, but somehow people still get fooled into thinking this one person is "the exception". Though at least with psychics, the victim usually wants something decent as the outcome.
Not sure on a specific bit, but I liked her talk show and her various appearances on the Chelsea Lately panel, as well as the roasts. But I'm not setting the bar that high anyway. I'm just saying she's not some talentless hack that's only gotten deals because of her looks and is representative of what's wrong with…
I don't like her show, but Whitney is getting unfairly maligned here. She was smart enough to graduate magna cum laude from Penn, and she's known for having one of the best work ethics in comedy. She got where she was by doing set after set and bit parts until she got on the roasts and Chelsea Lately and was a hit.…
Its always amazing how much anger these types of articles generate (no pun intended).
Day 2 of Tucker Max's free publicity. Will he ride the free publicity from the likes of Jezebel and Gawker onto Broadway like he used it to get on the NYT Best Seller lists?
I was on a flight with him not long ago. He didn't look well. He had trouble walking and his hands were very shaky.
I blame someone who doesn't know the context for responding negatively. I can't blame them for feeling negative, and I can't blame someone who understands that it's Odd Future for criticizing the spot. But if it's someone complaining without seeking the context or looking into it further, I blame them completely.…
I have zero interest in watching this twerp's play or reading his book, but didn't he ride the negative publicity from places like Jezebel and Gawker right onto the best seller lists? Is it really this easy to keep playing you guys like a fiddle whenever he has a project?
I believe the life with a possibility of parole sentence means she can be up for parole in 7 years. The sentence has nothing to do with penis severing. She was convicted of aggravated mayhem and torture, and that is the maximum penalty. Someone who didn't mutilate any genitals could get the same sentence.
This is the type of small picture agonizing that will turn off a lot more people than help the cause.
Well, everybody ain't as smrt as you, perfesser.
I think there's a difference in when he got his membership. If they already had hours just for women, he can't complain. But if they made a change after he was already a member, without offering any kind of small discount or accomodation, then I think he has a point.
Agreed. He sounds like a D-bag, and I wouldn't go to his lecture, but you have to allow the bad with the good.
Lindy, I have a lot of sympathy for your position, and it's not like anyone will ever be perfect in criticizing. But I'd also point out that to treat everyone inequally is to deny equality too.
"But doesn't an image of a gun clearly imply violence?"
