Practically all my credit cards have credit monitoring included for free. While sometimes annoying, it definitely works. I got a new car loan and was blown up via email afterwards from all of them letting me know a new loan was on my credit report.

Haha, a glutton for punishment. Got a good chuckle from this.

Right? This is how dogs end up in shelters and it’s sad.

Honestly, all of my bigger pandemic purchases have been great!

Chick Fil A is the only fast food place I’ve been with a legit salad. Wendy’s is 2nd place, but I actually LIKE eating Chick Fil A’s salads.

I like them, but they’re 80 percent breading. Fried breading would taste good covering a pencil eraser.

Watched the original “IT” at a friend’s house when I was around 7 years old. Couldn’t ride my bike down the street without constantly looking over my shoulder to make sure Pennywise wasn’t following me.

I think the author missed the 2020, pandemic-induced, Bear Market. It was short, but I believe it fits the definition.

It’s been a long time since I watched it, but Brimstone, with Guy Pearce and Dakota Fanning, had so many scenes that I found disturbing and uncomfortable. I spent that whole film saying “Jesus Christ” to myself and figured that the director was enjoying making torture-porn.

I participate in group “Crossfit” style workouts and really the only minor annoyance I get is when people are half-assing a portion of the workout. I don’t mean scaling for their ability, but obviously not trying very hard because they seem to be lazy or not in the mood. Why bother coming if you’re not going to put in

I often like to point out that some of these conversations devolve into the intent of the 2nd Amendment, but what is not talked about is that it is an “amendment”. Meaning it was decided something should be changed about our country’s constitution. Not that I’m naïve enough to think that we could ever get enough of

I have two major gripes that I don’t see repeated in the other comments:

Wow, a lot of bummers in the comments here. What the heck is wrong with a pizza party? I’ve never worked in an office where people felt pressured to be there. It has usually been “hey, there’s pizza in the break room, come and get it if you want some”.

Really, the only time I get frustrated like you’re describing is when I try to find a specific sports game. It could be streaming on one of 10 different streaming platforms for free, but it takes forever to find an American Football game, basketball game, baseball game, etc. Often it’s just easier to find an illegal

While not visually dark, the movie Brimstone is probably the most grim movie I’ve ever seen. You can’t make it to the end of that movie without being revolted and/or bummed out.

I’ve used the high-end dishwasher at my parent’s house that is only a few years old, I’ve used my own that is mid-range and about 10 years old, and I’ve used a handful at various rental places over the years. I’ve never used a dishwasher that consistently got all the gunk off. Shallow cups with condiment residue in

I was going to say this exact thing. I really freaked myself out once when I was doing decline bench without a spotter and was too fatigued to get the bar back into the rack. Had trouble rolling the bar up to my elevated hips and thought I was going to take the bar to the neck. I would never recommend doing those

That is exactly what people were doing. But it’s victimless fun when you obtain it from a thrift store and wear it to a party where tasteless aunts are not in attendance. And people enjoyed it for the same reason anyone likes to thrift shop, it’s fun to find a hidden gem at a thrift store, but in this case, the gem is

As echoed here by multiple commenters, the cost of college going up drastically faster than wages or inflation is one of the biggest root problems. You could make a good argument that available loans allow people to sign up for exorbitant tuition costs, perpetuating the problem, but the tuition itself is still the

I thought Korg’s lines in Thor: Ragnarok were legit funny.
