Unfortunately, it’s hard to get people with ME/CFS to join and/or complete studies bc of the debilitating aspects of the disease. As someone who has it, I’ve sometimes put off important doctor visits for months because I don't have the energy to go. It's also why there's so little activism. We just can't.

That was what I was wondering. Projects get axed all the time, even with less predatory studios. Right?

Ahhh! Hyperion is going to be such fun for you! It's a great series

I love "Style" on 1989, which has to be her best album. "Dress" on Reputation is a solid jam. "The Archer" on Lover, "Karma" on Midnights.

Mozart was in the perfect position to be a douchebag—basically Mozart farted so Lizzo could shart. He cheated on his wife constantly and sexually harassed his singers.

Every time he said "roof" I felt my shoulders creep a little higher towards my ears.

He just asking questions! God! /s

Right. And control, when it comes to emotional/psychological abuse, is in the form of "if you don't do this, I won't love you/treat you with respect/trust you/stay with you". Emotional abuse can start so small that you don't notice the occasional knock to your self-esteem, or you think, "maybe he's had a bad day",

Joe Montana! My mom had a picture of him taped to the wall of the laundry room in my childhood home

Doesn’t this conflict with EU policies on data privacy? I’m not at all confident that Google and Apple would refuse to cooperate but tech companies have already run a fowl of the EU for violating users' privacy.

I think the worst part of it for me was seeing how it was all a joke to them. Memes. Costumes. Laughing. Mugging to the cameras--not for posterity but for virality.

👏👏👏

Not to mention that there’s a huge difference between keeping documents in a private residence or office and storing them in tawdry bathrooms and Soviet-style ballrooms with hundreds (how?) of people trampling over the linoleum.

That’s what I was wondering. Thanks for citing numbers because I didn't wonder so much I felt like looking it up.

I swear to God every time I see a picture of her I think it's Arturo Castro in drag.

I never knew what my life was missing until I read, "That's the 'no homo' of insurrection." Thank you, and happy Pride!

I absolutely agree with you, but what I think is more egregious, perhaps, is that the writer is missing the point about the leprechaun video—those weren’t slice-of-life Black residents. They were totally fucking with the gawping reporter, each story more ridiculous than the last, everyone seemingly incredulous at the

It seems like you know what a bad faith argument you made because you made sure to let us know you were referring to Brown v. Board. Otherwise we might be forgiven for our confusion over how you use the word “segregation”.

Oh my God. I read these books about 30 years ago and this entire time—3/4 of my life—I thought Smeagol was human. Maybe there was mention of how Stoorish people looked more like humans than other hobbits? I'm floored. My entire perspective has shifted. Everything I thought I knew is wrong. I never intended, or wanted,

I’ve never understood this advice and I never take it. What the hell is my provider going to do about either a software/hardware issue or something caused by the bungling of a huge corporation who gives nary a shit? (For that matter, I usually don't call when I have an outage since they know it's happening & everyone
