Yeah, that thing was a nightmare; one of my first cars was a Lumina Z34 with one of these. It was actually a great, responsive engine, but ridiculously complicated & almost impossible to work on in the car. Mine died a fiery death from timing chain failure, as did most I'm sure.

The 2.2 turbo did appear in the Shelby Chargers, and in fact this intercooled mill is claimed to be a 'CSX Carroll Shelby experimental turbo intercooled motor.' Huh? It also has 5-lug snowflakes which indicates that the suspension has been upgraded as well, additionally evidenced by a strut tower brace in the engine

1.) Charge real money

NP because there is definitely 1200 bucks worth of fun there

To be fair, this happens in the private sector in large companies quite a bit more than you'd expect, too.

First, let's start with the car's origins. 1961 was a pivotal year for Ford, its Lincoln brand and the Continental itself. It was the first model year for a major redesign that introduced signature design quirks: Suicide doors and the now-famous egg-crate grille. (A persistent rumor around Detroit is that Lincoln

5.) Chevrolet Chevette

How is this at 10% NP?

I would drive the living shit out of that Nismo version; I love it!!!

I was undecided, but went with CP for the Metallica reference :D

What's the fastest speed you've achieved in a Chevy Sprint?

This.

I found myself in this conundrum a few years ago after graduating university, needing a car with only about a grand to spend and not wanting something too beige;

Not too sure about that... the Turbo R had a pretty ridiculous amount of power for its day, and they still said it was "adequate" instead of publishing the numbers.

.... I think we already know the answer to that question...

Imagine that, an American discussing things he doesn't really know about as though he was an authority on the subject!

One of these showed up to the GRM UTCC 2013 Challenge, and it didn't really do that well... was beaten by a 'Vette, a 911, an M3, and quite a few other cars around VIR. I mean, it was still fast, but not as fast as I would have hoped for if I dropped that much money!

They might not make power, but some of them do make an excellent noise! :D

Seconded! The UUC shifter is really most excellent.

One of my favourite guitar tones of all time....
