Did I suggest Trump supporters are perfect? I just want you guys to realize that engage in the same hate and aggressive rhetoric that has lead to the breakdown of the political system in this country.

I think there were more angry feminists like you complaining about manbabies than there were actual manbabies, but whatever.

Remember that time a republican office was firebombed and everyone on Jezebel was like “No way! A democrat would never do that! It must have been those despicable republicans committing a false flag!” And now this article comes out and every comment is democrats patting themselves on the back for vandalizing

People deserve to have their property vandalized for their political beliefs, right?

It’s worrying that you want to harm half the country that disagrees with you.

Literally everyone involved has told the same story about Banks being a psycho threatening to kill someone. Why so much snark at RZA and Crowe? Can you literally never write a good thing about a man? It seems like it. This article is about as Jezebel as it gets, and it’s disgusting.

What if he is defending himself and his friends from a crazy woman who threatened to slit their throats with a broken glass and was about to lunge or throw it at someone?

Oh my god Azaelia. Just stop.

If someone said that about something racist put up in a university somewhere you would be outraged if people claimed it was minorities trying to gain sympathy.

Yes it is.

“This black person doesn’t agree with me! There must be something wrong with him!”

It’s hard for most people to overcome the biases they have been filled with by sites like this. Most articles about science here are either horribly inaccurate, or just straight up hating on it for apparently being sexist / racist / something else.

Well this article is about Science trying to cure a disease that affects black people and gay men at a much higher rate than the rest of the global population, so maybe you can put your science hate back in the bag for today.

Did you ignore the part where he shot a cop?

Assume he is innocent and you are looking at things from his perspective. He has seen many other men be expelled and punished on very weak or entirely he said / she said evidence. He refuses to sit back and let that happen to him. He is now “suspicious” for fighting back.

I don’t think it shocked the university community. The sun and papers like it describe every Oxbridge student as either brilliant or a toff. I don’t think anyone at uni honestly thought his intelligence made him incapable of it somehow.

You dislike the idea of “thought police” yet your whole post was about finding out about peoples subconscious biases and using it to exclude them from college.

Maybe they know more of the facts than we do? Remember what happened at SUNY?

Spete, How could the officer possibly determine it was BB gun? Use your empathy to see things from his perspective. Any reasonable person would think they were in extreme danger in that situation.

They take risks by turning up at the scene of an armed robbery and trying to catch the armed criminals (in this case), expecting them to stand there and risk getting shot when someone has an apparently lethal weapon pointed at them is just absurd.
