Disagree completely. I am female, a Deadspin lover and Jezebel lover. Bobby’s take on this was perhaps the best thing I have read on either site today in light of the mass tragedy and sadness that has been these last few days.

My source was the military too, apparently they’re not teaching as well as they used to. It was made very clear to me that I was NOT to make a big deal about what civvies did with the flag.

It’s definitely something that has existed in the past. I had one when I was a little kid, and I thought it was the BEST THING EVER. (Note: I was a little kid in 1976. EVERYTHING had a flag on it.)

Guaranteed that many of the people upset about this have ranted about PC Culture, everyone being too sensitive, and the pussification of America (re safe spaces most likely) sometime very recently.

Looks like a towel to me! The US definition of our flag is a little weird. If you let a real flag (real = polyester?) touch the ground you’re an anti-patriot-heathen, but if you use a fake flag (fake = fleece?) as a throw on your couch everything’s cool.

Anyone who actually has an issue with this needs to take a deep breath and contemplate their priorities in life.

Um the dogs who are sitting on the flag are some good looking pooches. If anything, the flag should be honored to have such fluffy butts placed upon it.

hahaha... that’s what I was thinking. The disbelief wasn’t at all to do with dragons, magic, werewolves, vampires, etc. it was that childhood marriages are not realistic. lol
