Red Sox Nation (lol - stop already) is actually pretty much not dark-skinned. I can assure you that Red Sox Nation loves Ortiz the Hitter but would keep his kids out if their school of they could.

I have a bit of a unique perspective on this so forgive me if I go on. I have 4 sons. 2 older (young 20s) and 2 younger (mid-teens) from two different marriages. For years and years I have been the full-time sole custodial parent of all. Older boys are out of the home now.

I agree strongly with the suggestions here for "Stick Control for the Modern Drummer" and "Accents and Rebounds" as well as Ted Reed's "Progressive Steps to Syncopation for the Modern Drummer". I may have loathed them at the time but they were oh-so-good in teaching me the very-important things they teach.
