Indeed, ‘85 CRX SI’s have the 13s, but the author has an 87. The 85 CRX SIs were the only year for the smaller wheels, the 140mph speedo, foam duck bill spoiler, recessed sealed beam head lights, and two tone paint. I have one :)

i think triple square drivers might be needed for the carrier bolts, its a tool most people don’t have but by no means vw exclusive or expensive.

The clearcoats of texas will disagree with you. The sun here is no joke

2.5L? i swear that might go down as one of VW’s most reliable engines. We have a ‘08 Rabbit with like 140k with only oil changes and basic maintenance done.

some kind of gargoyles, but idk the exact model

Dynadots? My civic si came with them. I peeled one off the engine cover thinking it was some errant glue.

I’m 3/3 for getting those stickers removed during the buying negotiations. It’s really never an issue and i assume a pretty common request.

Assume ur talking about an auto? I believe they use aisin warner which is some subsidary of toyota. Basically it uses a toyota approved atf, unless you want to pay triple for mini rebranded atf fluid. From my research i remember mini, vw, audi and volvo using them.

Considering how much newer spec oil like 0W20 and such is out in stores i have to assume a lot of other people besides me are doing oil changes for their newer cars. I just finished up transmission fluid and oil on my wife’s car last week. VWvortex has tons of people all doing work same with the Honda forums.
