i’d love to see some first gen crx stuff. the seals and rubber bits only last so long. that and the crap plastic that was used on the header, door panels and such.

You can generally get a used Lincoln MKT for about the price of a used Flex. I’d go the MKT route. Not only can you not buy the MKT there, I don’t believe Lincoln exists there either.

At least one local car meet does a ‘ban the brand’ if someone does some nonsense they are all banned at the next meetup, maybe we need to do this at a national level. No Mustangs for the next month at car meets/shows/gatherings/&coffee.

I used to have a job making wire harnesses and I’ve never soldered two wires together. The proper way is to use an uninsulated butt splice with openings, crimp it then fill it in with solder.

I would also recommend picking another stroke you enjoy. It helps to alternate so you don’t get bored doing one stroke the entire time. For me I’ve always enjoyed breaststroke as I always felt it was easy to get into the rhythm and was great for catching a bit of air during more intense sets.
