I’m so glad this comment is up top cos I came here to say just this. It’s not about wanting to kill everyone’s fun - 2016 sucked, but 2017 will be even worse if we can’t face the facts about the consequences of our actions, even if those actions make us feel warm and fuzzy in the short term.
