As a female producer, working with a female writer-director, trying to get funding for a film starring a 55 year old woman, I 100% agree with Kirsten’s comments.
If Hollywood truly wants to see more women make films, it needs to start financing them.

So I’m staying in tonight because freelancing sucks. Nobody pays in a timely manner anymore. I’m waiting for checks that go back six months. Every day that I open the mailbox and there’s nothing in it, I have a mini rage stroke.
