I’m going to go ahead and guess that you’re right, because I’ve never had the opportunity to try one and thus I have zero interest in buying one. I keep *hearing* that it’s amazing, but when nobody I know has a VR setup, it seems like a lot of hot air.
I think it is unreasonable for pats on the back all round and equivocating bullshit like “The ACA has problems, but”, which is typically what one gets. It’s a attitude that inures many people to the inadequacy of the legislation for literally millions of Americans, the fact that actually it probably should be repealed…
It’s a wholly legitimate attitude to take, I think. Experience is inherently personal, so you want to protect that personal facet of it rather than have it defined for you, because when that happens, there’s arguably little or nothing to be gained from the experience at all.
OMG! FUCK ‘THE PARTY’!
That ‘opportunist’ is on Capitol Hill at this moment introducing a ‘Medicare For All’ bill with many prominent Dem figures by his side.
Yes the guy who is leading the charge for medicare for all should definitely take a step back
Well said. Just look at how cruel and angry people get when you cross “their” lines. This thread is full of angry childish comments not too far off of the level of revulsion that Pewds himself draws from them. But there’s no sense of self awareness, no sense of self improvement. Just an ironic race to the bottom.
No! Stop making so much sense, the people can’t handle it!
It can’t just be that a dude is explaining something to a woman who happens to possess (but how could he know, because he just met her?) specialized knowledge about it.
But calling it ‘mansplaining’ gets clicks don’tcha know? Just like ‘man spreading’ is a specifically sexist term for someone who happens to be a man taking up more space than they need to, like women can’t possibly take up more space than they need to somehow...
How did I wind up an accomplished 30-year-old woman who found it easier to get drunk and give in to unwanted sex than to walk out of a bad date?
Is this just an American issue or is this the same in European countries? This really seems like a self esteem problem and it really sad.
Holly Shit, why doesn’t anyone see he’s not that good of a QB??? With that, he’s not worth the PR shit that’s going to come with him.
Yeah, it was definitely more of a comment about McDonald’s atrocity of a burger, which consisted of curried peas and breading.
I have very mixed feelings about this whole concept. I totally agree that white people - because they’ve been in power - get to just take what they want w/o thinking about it and that sucks. But on the other hand, who cares if Katy Perry or Gwen Stefani wear some crazy outfit with a cultural theme? I mean, I was…
He sounds like someone Roger Corman would dig.
No matter what happens to Kyrie this offseason, he is not coming out of this stretch looking good. It’s already pretty strange to be demanding a trade, but then to mock your own teammates alongside the team’s biggest rivals is pretty shameful. It doesn’t say much for his as a teammate or a person. How is any talented…
Yeah. It sort of feels like the criticism of retro games I saw in a review of Shovel Knight.... and by this, in a review that *praised* Shovel Knight for the way it approached retro gaming in the ways a lot of “retro” games do not.
Specifically, Shovel Knight was developped as a “retro” game in the kind of thinking…
I got an idea. Why not wait and watch the show to see how it is?
