Russ is one of the few NBA guys that I 100% believe doesn’t cheat on his wife. Just seems like a great dude.

The fact so many people dislike Russell Wesbrook absolutely baffles me. We have an athletic freak the likes of which we’ve only seen a handful of times in the league, and he really, really cares about winning. On top of that, he seems interesting and thoughtful, and dresses in ways you wish you could if you didn’t…
You will never get an answer to this question that doesn’t rely on a person’s “deep internal feelings” of being the opposite gender, which, by any standard is just something we have to take on faith. Which would be totally fine if self-identification wasn’t starting to change privacy laws, and affect the integrity of…
And I do get that, but all those things were said about transgender people. Which is where I find my quandary. Any argument I use like that against someone saying they are trans racial I would find transphobic if it were about transgendered people
People describe fights as a “Punchers Chance” when one professional boxer has less boxing skill and ability than his opponent (sometimes significantly less), but has enough power that an upset could occur if he managed to land a clean shot. This seems to fulfill most of the criteria on its face, but is missing the…
So many “Zaza isn’t a cheap-shotting pussy cut from the Draymond cloth” truthers on here. Take your ring, but never doubt that the Golden State Warriors might be the most bitchmade franchise in professional athletics today.
I’ve spent the last few years purchasing every game I ever pirated as a kid via Steam, where all those games that were completely priced out of poor child-and-teenaged me’s life are now at reasonable rates.
Totally agree with this. Since buying games has become so easy and affordable, I have purchased way too many games that I don’t have time to pirate games anymore. Also all the games I used to pirate as a teenager I have pretty much purchased through GOG.com and Steam.
The “old” AA logo was pretty awesome. There’s a reason they kept it for so long. But there is one thing about it that always felt a bit off to me... Because of the stylized eagles tail, sticking out at that angle, the eagle it pushed more toward the blue A. The spacing between the Red A and the Eagle is larger than…
I think you stumbled onto why I—a 40-year-old man with two kids, two mortgages, a career that makes me fairly severely miserable, and more responsibilities than pleasures—enjoy Minecraft. I can make stuff and do stuff completely at my own pace, with no targets or objectives to stress out about, and no consequences…
I love playing Zarya in total mayhem. You’re invincible.
Its a very slippery slope when art can be criticized not for its intent, but for what feelings and opinions it elicits from its audience. And this doesn’t just apply to static sculpture, this applies to all forms of art; music, film, etc.
If “I’m offended” is now the standard to have art removed from public, God help…
I couldn’t get into Minecraft. I need to have some kind of end goal or emotional feedback to really delve into a game. However, Dragon Quest Builders came out and I found myself going back and building things after I had completed the actual game and I finally “got” why my kids enjoyed Minecraft so much.
As much as I dislike the two teams in the East semis, I’m going to have to root for them against Golden State, in the hope that Kevin Durant doesn’t win a title as a Warrior, and has to figure out some way to join the 1992 US Olympic team in an effort to win a championship.
This sentiment doesn’t actually make much sense with Rockstar’s track record.
I agree with that. It might be cathartic to see him put his foot down, but it’s going to be more influential in the long term that he has made inclusion into a neutral part of the design.
I’m 100% clapping your post. This is exactly how the games industry should be treating inclusivity!
This needs to make it to the top. As a minority myself, you’ve summarized my sentiments about this subject pretty well.
I still hold firm to my initial belief that VR is the most hyped and well funded phase in gaming history. The only way VR won’t be an awkward cumbersome experience is if we develop the type of tech seen in Sword Art Online. Until we reach that level I just can’t imagine VR as anything more than a gimick and an…
