It was parked properly within the lines indicating the parking space. So, being a Mercedes, this was immediately recognised as suspicious behaviour and they towed it. 

My wife threw the controller down in fear after the first hunter cut scene (RE1), where it shows their POV as they follow your route back to the mansion. And that was after she’d played RE2 and Nemesis!
