HBO’s Chernobyl documentary did not include the orange truck, therefore I must question its validity.

Appears there’s literally no one in charge.

The captain (likely) lives, but now has to live with the guilt that he (probably) caused the death of 17 others. Talk about both a blessing and a curse.

In Soviet Russia, engine kill you!

Can a person actually open fire on another, in a state that TMK does not have a SYG law, and not be charged with anything? How is this not simple assault, at the very least?

So maybe he then stops, once she’s on the windshield, and figures out plan #2? Who continues to drive with a human on a windshield and expects nothing very bad to occur very soon after?

This is finally the year automaker CEOs have dinner with airline CEOs and say, “wait, we can charge for these things?”, and BOOM, here come the add-on fees and subscriptions. By October, someone will subscribe for seats with a heat option and position memory.  Someone will buy into extra power and auto-tinting.  Some

Runway incursion? All I know about air travel I’ve learned on Air Disasters, but I’ve seen enough of those episodes to suspect that small plane was where it wasn’t supposed to be.

Boeing also found an undelivered aircraft with a nut that wasn’t properly fastened

Yawn.  These stories about trucks injuring those who walk around are so pedestrian.

By the fact this equipment was used as opposed to say....a simple fusillade of hollow-points, we can surmise the likely race of the driver.

car washes are counting on you to not use their service, since they’ll be making money either way

Would a quick dousing in LN2 do it? Not that this is really practical everywhere, but if large fire depts could dispense 10 gallons of LN2 from a dewar on a battery pack and freeze it out, perhaps thats.....something?

Or what that much water in that little of an area does to the road structure underneath, the animals living in flooded holes/dens nearby, local stream contamination, etc.

I’m sure those Indiana gumshoes will test him for BAL....

I’m just as dumbfounded too. Me and the spouse both make 6-figs, but drive quite simple vehicles (Hondas) and are gobsmacked at the sheer number of $60-$80K bro-trucks with lift kits towing jet-skis or RVs. How and why so many people seem able to afford this, or are OK with going so deep into debt to do so is a questio

For a brand most associated with selling to wrinklies, and said wrinklies are infamous for not accepting change, esp. massive technological changes, I can see why Buick doesn’t expect to sell many EVs the their loyal customers and thus this change is a financial loser for them.

Is EV growth slowing, or manufacturers overproducing? The stat I’m always shown is “days on the lot”-style metrics, which could be either not enough sales OR too much production/delivery. So which is it?

I find this report sketchy....nigh, unseamly.
