Unless you don’t understand how the Movie Studios/Cinema Screeners’ split in box office revenue takes work, none of those movies broke even, except for Dracula Untold.

“IT’S WEBBING TIME!!!!!””

Neither are you.

No it wasn’t intended as a burn.

And neither do you.

Are you a lawyer?

Cry more.

$804 box office gross at the US Box Office.

>>>>”No. Not renewing a contract is not being fired. Losing your job while under contract is being fired. This really isn’t complicated.”

She WAS....literally in talks to headline their spinoff from the Mandalorian called the “Heroes of the Republic” or something like that, and which Disney were poised to launch at the D23 event that year (2021) before this all blew up and they cancelled the plans and the spinoff.

I don’t think it’s so much, ‘we shouldn’t take her at her word’, more than it is, ‘she probably doesn’t know the difference’, and her lawyers haven’t explained it to her because they want the legal fees.

Elon Musk is basically the “Peter Thiel” to Gina Carano’s “Hulk Hogan” in trying to stick it to Disney ala Gawker (oh the irony).

The broad terms of her contract (in terms of its length anyway) were relatively well known.

She had already made some silly Twitter postings and comments before that and had been warned by backchannels to stop it. And when she didn’t they again approached her (or rather her agent) seeking to remedy the situation by having her meet various groups like GLAAD and others to soothe the situation over, but again

What’ll really bake people’s noodles is when they realize that that $804 was the money the theaters paid Shapiro’s production company to get that stinker off their screens.

In California where this show was being filmed and where Disney is based, it is an at-will state.

>>>>Haley’s a very mainstream Republic, and Chappelle and Gillis don’t seem to be conservative at all, strictly speaking.”

>>>”>>>>Look, I broadly agree with Yang’s views on the world, certainly more so than Nikki Haley’s. But Haley is broadly representative of views about half the country hold on abortion and trans issues.”
