Totally. Like I expect to take centerpieces from formal events. I figure out who I need to ask in advance, of course (sometimes), but why not? It’s not like they’re going to be used otherwise!

We could easily solve the mass incarceration problem by not incarcerating *non* violent offenders. Stop jailing people for being addicted to drugs, failing to pay court fines, being homeless etc. so when guys like this show up, we can lock him up and throw away the key.

I never question mine and I can’t figure out if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. I never find myself going “Yup, put them on trial and then murder them.” even for the most horrific of people. If you don’t allow it, you don’t allow it.
