*Stamps feet* Completely agree. :(

Oh, I think this dress was intended for depths beyond the scope of water tubing. But I see your point too. ;)
Quite.
I love this guy. Love him. Mmm ... *gets distracted* ... Sherlock. Or more specifically: Moriaty.
*Muses* I'd assume the inner-tube arrangement was to help you float, putting drowning low on the list of Things That Could Go Wrong in this instance.
*Sighs* I'd LOVE to swim right now. It's not even 8am, 41C out, the pool has actual steam coming off it ... this dress looks like the absolute business.
Me too. I mean, we never normally let the Kiwis get ahead of us on anything and now even the 'old country' has pipped us at the post. Sheesh!
Baby steps, darl. Mincing baby steps, but baby steps.
Double post. Kinja. :(

Oh, Brenda. I know your role in this extravaganza is titular, but you rock, girl. Hugs'n'that. x
*Gnashes* Effin' Tony Abbott has a lot for which to answer as well.
Was just about to post the exact same thing! Ex-actual classically-trained bun head here and what ABM knows about THAT world couldn't be spread on a biscuit. Jeez!
*Blushes* Shucks. I do appreciate it! And I hope you're right. :)
Most apartments and all villas have 'maid rooms'. The standard descriptor for accommodation out here is 'so many' beds + maids.
I do not know. I don't. But I'm sure others will help.
*Fist-bump* We could be twins. Sorta. I don't teach, but I've lived in the UAE [Dubai] for years now, and you could be writing what I think.
That's right: for many it IS a culture thing. As I said in another post, slavery was only officially banned in 1962, so there are still a great many people working for families in Saudi who were born into slavery. And there are so many Saudi nationals who were also raised in that environment.
