I do wish Jezebel would stop perpetuating the myth that universal health care in socialist economy countries is the end-all be-all of health care.

Er ... that's the individual doctor's problem; nothing to do with Sydney, Australia. We're not so backward that contraception is routinely dispensed accompanied by blushes and giggles.

My favourite bit — from HuffPost — is Hawking's 'rebuttle':

Ever heard of that phrase 'Don't feed the trolls'? Reading the Daily Fail is doing exactly that. Your addiction is paying the wages of vile bottom-feeding paps who think it's perfectly okay to take pictures of largely no-talent media identities — and worse, their children — on a daily/hourly basis Just Because.

Yes, well, texting is so much cosier, don't you think? ;)

*Blushes* Eyethangyew. :)

One word: Ebay.

Ha ha! A bit. Yes.

Sweet.

It's the non-smiling thing about them that mostly gives me the creeps. Those blank stares ... the always-dark eyes ... No wonder Gothic novels came back with a vengeance in the Victorian era.

Cultural constructions of femininity became highly centered on motherhood and the special bond between a mother and her children in the Victorian era.

Beauty, truth, awesomeness. That’s all it is.

'But if I were Kim and about to have a baby, I would want to know ...'

Face-swappy merge-y stuff never turns out well. :/

Quite.

... the “deeply regrettable, offensive and sexist” menu was put together by a non-party member who thought it would be “humorous” and “didn’t mean any harm by it.

I would though, because y'know ... fate. :/

No worries. It's worth it. :)

As I said, it sometimes takes a bit of a hunt to find info! Doing a search of the brand name together with 'ethics' or 'ethical' is a good place to start. You can also read articles about the industry and spot info about traders in those as well.

Jeez. What a way to go. :/
