They're bloody gorgeous despite not having the car-attacking abilities of their country-mates. I admire their abilities. Aussie birds just make a shedload of noise ie cockatoos et al. :-)

Ah! I was confused. I thought they had somewhat similar feathers. I remember an advertisement from years ago which showed a bunch of kias destroying a car and it had stuck in my mind for some reason. :-)

Perhaps. Still ... a fact is a fact. And it's a fact that the incident occurred not in Dubai, but in Fujairah, an emirate with a different ruler, slightly less relaxed rules about sex, and a different police force/courts/jails/etc.

Oh I dunno ... cats were completely eradicated from Lord Howe Island in 1979. Seems to have done no end of good to their native wildlife population.
