Reminds me of Laura Loomer’s tyre-
squigbobble: ruining your jokes with science since 1998
There is some old wive’s tale about how sex with the father can hasten birth.
It’ll also be interesting to see how the solitary engine enjoys ingesting turbulent air during stall testing.
My guess is that the one coming through the firewall is from the pedal and the other is the cruise control... assuming it’s fitted to this car. I think you’re into service manual territory now, there’s probably a PDF of it floating around the internet somewhere.
How about 80s Honda bike engines where the camchain is, by design, lubricated by ‘oil mist’ aka happy thoughts. That’s how a bike with a redline of only 9k could eat a camchain every 30k miles and it’s also how the VFR750 and 800 ended up with gear driven cams until 2002. Then there’s the 90s Hornet with camchain…
Depends on the car, if it’s a system with 2 sets of injectors (like Toyota D4-S) it’ll be self cleaning like a port injection engine.
If there’s only one cable you can probably just hold the throttle open to take the tension off it and unhook the metal blob on the end of the cable from the throttle quadrant, or whatever it’s called. Find a service manual for your car, it’ll tell you how do this.
Pepperidge Kale Smoothie Bar remembers.
I’ve noticed that as well, it seems to be mostly in the USA... or that’s where it’s getting the most coverage. My guess is that part of the surge is recognition and better reporting but still...
Yeah, the film version is like low-budget Catholic nuns and the TV version could almost be Amish except the big bonnet is, I suspect, way too fancy.
it’s entirely possible for a country to slide into a kleptocratic Revanchist dystopia and bleed the country’s wealth out to offshore accounts for decades at least
I saw the pic and thought they were nuns before I read the rest of it.
If you want high revs you want an ‘86-’96 CBR250RR-
The Ford Zetec engine series were based on Yamaha designs, iirc.
The Hill article about the Privilege Grant doesn’t even cover half of it, it was dodgy right from the start- https://medium.com/@jkellytwit/milo-yiannopoulos-in-damage-control-mode-as-shady-grant-gets-the-spotlight-df381388b51c
When I heard about McCabe I was briefly concerned about how he’d manage financially. Then it occurred to me that he’s probably been on a six-figure wage for the last 20 years and now the only thing that concerns me is that he might get screwed out of his retirement healthcare stuff.
lol. I test drive a Model S a few years ago and it left me with the impression that Tesla have zero understanding of Human Factors beyond the purely ergonomic side of it. I assume they don’t care about the driver’s brain because their ultimate goal is to render it useless.
