I knew this was happening but it depresses me anyway. I appreciate that the press needs money and this has provided a lifeline, but the fact that they have a have a somewhat vested interest in keeping Trump in power alarms me.
The idea that a Donald Trump presidency is a good thing for the bottom line doesn’t mesh with the notion that he presents a unique threat to the press or other democratic institutions.
Yep, and when Michele Wolf chastised them for profiting from Trump at their fancy pantsy party they all became righteously indignant over *checks notes* Sarah Sanders’ eye makeup.
