I hope your toilet's thawed out by now!

The last episode gets an A and this one gets a B?! Am I in some bizarro world where A's and B's are flipped? Wait I mean. Bm I in some aizbrro world where B's bnd A's bre flipped?

Yet another entry in the saga of "Pearl still needs to learn respect for other people's boundaries"

"The easiest way to establish onscreen sibling chemistry is through physicality, which makes it even more impressive that Daveigh Chase and Tia Carrere built a believable relationship using nothing but their voices in Lilo & Stitch."

This is probably the creepiest the show has been so far, which is saying something given stuff like Cat Fingers and Rose's Room.

It said "Jenny - Intimidating Teenage Girl", I don't know what episode you were watching.

Well that was an episode! Yep.

The show does a good job here, I just don't like the way the review dealt with this.

The point is that people shouldn't be held responsible for their actions? No thanks.

Maybe it's just me but I think this review went way too easy on Pearl. She was an adult Crystal Gem projecting her issues onto a human child and even knowing what those are, there's really no justification for flat out telling Connie "you are nothing". Eric seems to be treating this as if it's just another cute Pearl

As a kid, I used to think that that movie and Back to the Future were the same. Needless to say, I was delighted when I found out what Back to the Future really was.

Oh dammit, I didn't even think of that. Dammit

No offense but I thought that symbolism/subtext was extremely obvious

I mostly thought of Harry Potter - it reminds me of how a lot of fans feel about the (shitty) epilogue.

Pearl: "You always SAY you'll be the crocodile, but you never commit." I feel like a lot of the comic lines in this show are at the level of prime-time television. Or possibly greater. I feel the same way about the fake commercials, media and products; they remind me of the ones from classic Simpsons and Futurama

"Another note: Sapphire is the one with Future Vision while Ruby does not, a fact that visibly frustrates her throughout the episode. Although somehow Sapphire didn't expect Steven to break out."

One thing I loved was the explanation for why Steven hadn't been told that Garnet was a fusion. I had thought there would be some sort of upsetting secret behind it, but then Garnet just says "We were waiting for your birthday", and I realized that more than anything the reason they hadn't told him was just because it

Honestly, Jasper as a character felt like she'd come straight out of DBZ.

Well, she said "first male gem" so I'm pretty sure that's still an indication there aren't really any male-appearing gems (besides Steven of course!). And I think I prefer it that way.

Heh… flawed gems…
