I read the whole thing, missed the single line about that email from his personal account where you linked to polygon

Oh Jason. You can’t reasonably expect an internet commenter to read an entire article before attempting to correct it.
Are you cracked man?
Buying you Titanfall 2 will give you the base game plus all future maps/modes/whatever. They did not say ‘ON LAUNCH’ they said buying it gives you everything, so no, it’s not at all, in any way, disingenuous.
No. Basically, online cheaters are scumbags, and they ruin the experience for everyone else. Fuck cheaters.
What? You didn’t know Blade Runner is French?
It explains why he has no backbone.
It’s so nice to see the writers here engage with their readers. Really warms the cockles of my 120 year old heart.
I call this getting too ahead of themselves and quite honestly I feel like they got what they deserved. They knew about this beforehand and they knew of this possibility. Especially post patch, where changes are bound to happen. So why risk it? Why not take the extra 10 seconds to avoid the one thing you knew could…
“Tragedy and heartbreak?” Let’s slow down. This isn’t the Lusitania sinking.
“By the way my dad had a theory that Evel never planned to make it, and intentionally pulled the chute too soon.”
Nah, too much pressure. Our raid group goes in 100% blind, so we like taking our time and experimenting and trying to figure out all the mechanics on our own.
I actually think the people who complain the loudest about the lack of content are people who don’t actually play Destiny. Those of us who are grinding this week are doing it because we love the game and want to be raid ready ASAP.
W is for Warframe that you think is a much better game,
Fixed for anyone over 30.
The Steam description of the game -still- has a list of features nowhere in the game.
“In No Man’s Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life”
Stars are skyboxes, planets dont move. thats paragraph one
I can’t speak for Gizmodo, but I will say that if I could go back to 2013 and choose whether or not to run all of my coverage on Doom, Arkane/Prey, and Fallout 4 knowing that Bethesda would blacklist me and Kotaku for the next 3+ years if I did, I’d run the stories every damn time.
He’s not talking 50 hours after release. He’s talking about actual gameplay time. If you play a game for 25+ hours straight, without it being playable, its your own fault for not getting a refund. Most people tinker for an hour or so, find it’s not playable and then wait for an update; those that don’t do that, get…
I’ve got over 1000 hours in Destiny, and still love it, and I’m super hyped about Rise of Iron.
Rise is a well-made and well-priced game though. As is Inside. Morally I don’t really have an issue with piracy but blaming the games when both mentioned are of top quality (as is Deus Ex, see if that gets cracked) seems weird.
