The more I see of this game the more I think Kojima having someone over his shoulder to check his worst excesses was a good thing.

Pewdiepie wears a swastika armband: “Don’t you guys know that’s a Buddhist symbol for good luck? Geez and you call us the Nazis!”
Movie bad, book good
Minish Cap I just never got around to and there’s no good way to play it now other than emulators. Skyward Sword I just couldn't bring myself to get through the tutorial. It dragged on forever and I got bored and never got back around to it.
Disappointing, but it’s nice to hear the rest of the game is great. I was mainly interested because Link’s Awakening is one of three Zelda games I’ve never put any significant time into (Minish Cap and Skyward Sword are the others), so chamber dungeons were just icing.
Hard disagree. This looks great and I’m glad they’re taking a risk and making it fresh. I’m really looking forward to it.
This continues to look impressive and I’m super looking forward to it, but part of me wishes they would also do a simple remaster with some of the features from the VIII and XII remasters. I would happily spend money on both if they existed.
I had a very good friend in college who was a big Phillies fan. The year they won the World Series was our junior year. My team didn’t even make the playoffs that year so I decided to root hard for the Phillies to support him. When they won he was obviously super pumped and I made the mistake of saying “We won!” just…
I feel like I read a few years ago that it was Philip K. Dick, but I also remember thinking there was no way that was true.
I’m almost positive Thile was hand picked by Keillor. I know he guest hosted a few times towards the end of PHC before Keillor left.
There’s an episode of The West Wing where they help an eastern European country write a new constitution. The delegation says they want an American system with a powerful president and the constitutional scholar they brought in to help (played by Christopher Lloyd!) spends the rest of the episode trying to convince…
I’m legitimately surprised there hasn’t been a remaster. It would probably sell well.
I haven’t seen this. Got a link?
They’re probably Catholics and Catholicism is a cult. They’re not real Christians.
I get where people are coming from worrying about salty gamers getting angry, but that is really not how 95% of the community of FFXIV acts. I’ve run through The Dancing Plague EX with about half a dozen different groups, each one wiping several times, and not once did anyone scream at someone or curse someone out for…
Part of my high school soundtrack. This song still slaps.
The other half is zippers.
It remains to this day one of of only two Zelda games I have never finished. I didn’t mind the touch screen controls, but I hated the Temple of the Ocean King with a burning passion. Who could have possibly thought that was a good idea?
Zodiac Age didn’t have new content, but for the majority of the American audience it was a new enough experience with the upgraded license boards and new item placement.
That’s my concern too. Does remaster mean higher res textures, or is it more of a FFXII Zodiac Age style thing?
