I will choose Tactics over VII 10 out 10 times. I hate when people say that FFVII is the best game ever made. It’s not. It’s not the best JRPG ever made. It’s not even the best Final Fantasy ever made.

God, that sign fits the 12th Doctor perfectly.

Just my opinion, obviously, but I think TW3 is the worst game out of all the nominees.

The awful UI is the only truly bad thing about the game, and Kotaku had an entire article about it just last week.

It’s 110 at Mark V, but you need Armorer rank 4 to get it. Well worth it!

College football is like little leauge baseball. Everyone gets to go to a bowl game so everyone feels like a winner.

I had mine preordered a while ago, but the day before it came out I decided to hold off on picking it up until it gets a bit cheaper. If I can find it somewhere for $40 before the end of the year I will definitely grab it, but $60 seems just a bit too steep.

I know you did the whole thing solo, but I did parts of it with friends. That asshole, however, was somehow harder with an extra person. They would inevitably die and then you’re stuck dealing with all of that additional health by yourself.

Bloodborne IS my game of the year so far.

That fucking fire dog whose name I can’t remember. He’s a joke at full health, but in that chalice dungeon most of his attacks were one shotting me. You essentially have to play that fight perfectly to get through.

Fellow Platinumer here! I’ve never understood the frustration with the Blood Starved Beast because of how easy he was to parry. I say that as someone who has pulled off MAYBE five successful parries in the rest of the Souls series. I’m awful at parrying.

I’ll give you that. Someone who started the series in Oblivion or Skyrim probably wouldn’t enjoy Morrowind. It’s dense and possibly over-complicated at some points, but that world was built so well and just felt fresh.

It’s not nostalgia, at least not for me. I went back just a couple of months ago and replayed Morrowind in its entirety. It’s still easily my favorite.

This is a fantastic article. Just keep doing your thing, Stephen. Don’t let them keep you down.

God I hated Fallout 3’s intro. It ranks just below Oblivion on my list of most hated Bethesda intros. Morrowind is the best: a couple of minutes to create your character, then you’re shoved into the deep end told to learn to swim.

Mass Effect 3 is the only game in the series I only own on one system. I played 1-2 on 360, then my 360 crapped out, so I replayed them on PC in anticipation of 3.

There were other considerations. Mostly, that my computer is getting a bit old and Fallout would be rough on the old girl. I’d be able to run it solidly at medium, maybe.

Fuck me. For weeks I was struggling with whether or not to get this game on PC or PS4. Eventually I decided that having mods right out of the gate was not worth sitting a desk all night after sitting at a desk all day, so I chose PS4.

Also, are you sure it’s Kent in the pod? There is a dude in a pod who can’t be interacted with, but it’s not Kent. He’s behind a door on the right side of the room after you enter the Memroy Den.

I’ve had times where I’ll get a message through the Playstation app on my phone, and I’ll get the notification on my actual PS4 five-ten minutes later. So yes, probably.
