I'll cede that point, but when my concern is when will it stop? Are we going to see cross-gen games in 2016? 2017?

Get over yourself. Gaming is an expensive hobby. "Waaahhh I don't have the money to buy a new system, waaaahhh why is Sony releasing a new system when my PS3 works just fine?" If you can't spend the money on it, take up fucking knitting.
But when the PS3 came out, they weren't making a PS2 version of Uncharted. Yes, PS2 games were still made, but they weren't dumbing down new games to make them work on an old console. After a year or so, the only new games coming out for the PS2 were mostly sports titles.
I'm more upset that it will also be coming to 360 than I am about the timed exclusivity. How are we going to embrace the next generation if we're holding games back to release them on older systems?
It's awful, and hardcore MMA fans are the worst. Most of them idolize these fighters and want to be like them, so any little thing will set them off. There have been at least half a dozen times where I've gone to a bar, realized it was UFC night, and then turned around and went home. I won't deal with it.
I've been tempted to make fun of Bronies, but I always remember that everyone has their weird little obsessions. Hell, I spent all weekend with my laptop hooked to my TV watching the Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour.
This response is a slightly more mature version of "Nuh uh you are!"
Eh, I'm sure Sony has crunched the numbers with more accuracy than either of us can. It probably costs them a not insignificant amount to implement the service, and they probably don't see themselves making enough money back to justify it.
You have a choice. If you're that interested in the content, buy an Xbox One.
Idk. $5 a month to play some outdated sports games doesn't seem like a great value to me.
None of those movies were nominated for Best Picture.
Tom Hardy is a small dude and no one complained about his physical presence as Bane.
I just couldn't get in to Hearthstone. I played it for about a week and never really enjoyed it. It's a well crafted game and I can see why people enjoy it, but as a competitive Magic player it's infuriating not being able to respond to things.
Some of these are great. The problem is that the MLB is steeped in so much tradition now that it will be hard to make any real change.
I loved GW2 up until I hit 80. After that it lost some of its luster.
It is clearly not worded incorrectly. It's a picture of upcoming Xbox One games included with a tweet about Xbox One exclusives. And even if it was meant to say Xbox family, which it's not, then half of the games pictured STILL aren't exclusives.
Republican Seantor: "The sky is green."
The original Microsoft tweet specifies Xbox One. There's not a damn thing in there about the Xbox family. That message is saying "*XBOX ONE* has the best exclusives."
He's so f'kin excited about reading Coreyography.
Some F2P games actually have earnable in-game currency. Lord of the Rings Online comes to mind. If you have the time and patience, you can grind out enough Turbine Points to pay for all the areas and expansions you need to unlock. If you don't want to spend time doing that, you can just pay real money for it.
