Same age as you, and same reaction.
Same age as you, and same reaction.
Exactly. I want the awful—but overly nostalgic—1993 LucasArts logo, not the weird, try-hard, mid 2000s logo.
I’m just going to drop off a link to an old Kotaku article that should have been mentioned.
Wow, that really sucks! I use TurboTax, and thankfully did not experience this mix up; I have received both payments immediately.
I was such a fan of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. (Still am!) But wow, I just...I just couldn’t with The Last Guardian. I felt like I was fighting old game design and controls the entire time rather than being amazed and impressed. It felt, to me, like an early PS2 game running in an engine built for the PS3 that…
Uh, what? Wow...wow. Yeah, sorry, that sucks. Throwing another one out there, have you made your PS5 primary? I don’t believe it does this by default.
I hear you on the love/hate. As for Dragon Age, there’s an option in either your Profile or in the Settings (I HATE how those are separated, but some options in Settings are profile specific), there is an option to restore/repair licenses. You need that for digital PS4 games to work. (I also had the disc of that game,…
I have the disc for Miles Morales PS5, and the PS5 kept showing me the PS4 version instead of the PS5 version I installed. When I’d click on it, I was given the option of buying the PS4 version.
After a month and a half(ish) of using the PS5, I feel like I can safely say I don’t think this interface was actually…
Unpopular opinion: I don’t like Amano’s style. At all. I’m sure that’s hearsay to a lot on here. He’s clearly talented, and I do have the super heavy “The Sky” collection of his artwork, but...I find his designs really ugly. I saw this cover earlier today and just...quickly scrolled past it.
I’m a big fan of FFIX, but…
I never heard that. That’s amazing! Honestly, everything about that controller—including the packaging—is such a win.
“We need someone to voice this girl with a bow.”
“What about a voice actor that did the girl with a bow in some other game?”
If I ever played Anthem more than the few hours (2?) of the beta I played or 1 hour of the retail version I bought at launch, I wonder if I would have done the same?
That’s awesome! I wonder if we ever crossed paths 23 years ago?
I know some 3D platformers (PS2 era, specifically) used to have camera control that was basically tripod controls: up and down inverted, but also left and right. Really felt like you were driving the camera on a tripod, literally. That became “normal” for me, as I was already someone that inverted in FPS games on the…
YES! I also played Jedi Knight with a joystick, and it’s weird for me to ever go back and play without a joystick. I played through the SP a lot with that joystick and played a lot of MP on the Microsoft Gaming Zone back in the day—again, on a joystick! (3D Sidewinder, specifically.)
No! You said it! It’s going to summon the changes!!
No joke about the fonts. Almost looks like Optima here. Not ideal, but certainly better than all the iOS ports that used Helvetica/Arial.
Yeah, I looked it up. Here it is for you since you didn’t bother to: “information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view.”
I see, like KFC, you’re into the Double Down. At least theirs was filling.
I love how they replicated the look of the PSone monitor. So many great details. This was made with love, that’s for sure!
