I’m unsure you understand what the word “propaganda” means, but this article certainly certainly shows that the word you were looking for this entire time was “celebration”. Astro’s Playroom is a celebration of all things Playstation, for fans that have been on the entire journey, fans that were there for only part of…
Holy crap, you get a star for that last sentence. Amazing.
I have two PS4's: my launch system and a second hand Pro bought from a pawn shop. Both at some point got louder than they originally were during gameplay. My launch PS4 was stripped down and new thermal paste was applied and dust blown out. It’s been quiet since. (Quieter, in fact, than it had ever been.)
We still use…
I did and I do still enjoy VR; I mean, I keep buying games intending to play more, but I just never take the time to get setup and actually dive in. There are so many games that their experience just isn’t the same outside of VR. Astrobot Rescue Mission, Moss, Farpoint (with the Aim Controller), Superhot VR, Statik, Jo…
I got a Pro because I had a PSVR headset and several games played in a pretty low resolution on my base PS4. That was the only reason I upgraded. And soon after I stopped playing VR much. Whoops!
PS4 Pro not doing 4K Blu-Rays was due to the disc drive not being upgraded to a capable drive. Literally the same speed drive from the original PS4 model. I’m guessing it’s just another cost saving measure, like how the system also has the same amount of RAM, despite more RAM being desperately needed for 4K gameplay.

I’ve only ever had BK in the US or NZ. That’s good to hear about the beef in Japan, but I’m not certain—if I do ever get over there—that BK is where I’m going to be making a stop to eat. But, in a pinch, good to note! Thanks!
IKR? It really should be that simple, but, apparently, it’s not. Something about the flavor is just off putting, and it’s not because it’s flame grilled. (After all, I make my own burgers on a grill and they never have the signature BK gross taste.)
Some years ago (a decade?) there was a tomato shortage and BK wasn’t putting tomatoes on whoppers unless you specifically asked. I figured “meh, it’s a tomato, who cares?” Well, that was easily the worst whopper I ever had. And since that point, even with tomatoes on, I can still taste why. Their meat is…
If you have ARC, using DTS or Dolby Digital Bitstream option on the Xbox works to give you surround sound. If you have eARC, you can also use uncompressed 5.1/7.1 or the Dolby Atmos/DTS:X options (which your article neglected to mention). That is, unless you have a dumb Samsung QLED tv like I do that lies about having…
I really like my PS4 (and Pro), and have a vast library of games for the system. Couldn’t ever really seem to grow my XBO library outside of some exclusives. My One S saw more use when I got a 4K tv as a 4K Blu-ray player. And when KODI launched, it’s gotten a lot of use since. I now have a One X and find the system…
I was even able to got my son to play through it, and he loved it. He would have been 3 when that game originally came out, so I’m keeping the love for it going!
Seven inputs on my AV, and four on my TV. I also have a PC hooked up.
PS3 sees less and less use every year, but there’s still plenty of games I love that I replay on it. This past year I replayed the PS3 Ratchet & Clank games, Eternal Sonata and FF13. (And Mass Effect 1, and part of 2.)
I love the PS4. A lot. I have hundreds of games on that system, and I won’t be seeing it go anytime soon. I have a Pro, and I still have my launch console, and as we speak I’m setting up my PS5, but my PS4 Pro is still connected to the TV, with no plans to disconnect it. (Also still connected in my living room: My…
I never saw this dog before. Unsure how I missed hearing about this, but I love it. Thank you for bringing this into my life.
It’s almost like they expect us to put off doing side content before the game ends. I did it while playing! Almost always I find that after the game credits roll, I’m put back in the game going “...well now what?”
I love stuff like this. I also know plenty of kids when I was younger swore up and down there was a Goonies 2, but never could find the VHS tape to rent. There was an NES sequel to Goonies, and I think that’s what messed with all of us.
Your scenario works if you’re the only user, or the only user that cares to play games purchased to your account, or if you just share your account with other people in your household. In my case, I made my PS4 Pro my primary system. I can play any of my purchases, and any other user profiles on the system can as…
