Well, I appreciate anything and everything you’ve been sharing thus far. Hopefully with the PS5 (the PS4 being the system my kids use the most) we’ll see the separate option to make the PS5 the primary PS5 with an additional option to also make it the primary PS4 (so I can just not activate it as my primary PS4).
Yeah, that’s what I’m assuming, too, but I hope it’s not. I hope it’s more like the PS3, but given the “backwards compatibility” nature, probably not.
So, if I keep my Xbox One X, I can’t continue using it 100% like I could yesterday if I set the Series X|S as home console today, correct? (Sharing benefits and downloads with other profiles on the sytem.)
I bought the vinyl single, and I’m buying the PS5 physical, despite it being included with PS+. At the very least, I’ll remember it.
Agreed. HL’s OST is atmospheric, and works for it.
I’d really argue the other way. I clicked both videos, and I both times I exclaimed “oh yeah!”. But before I played those videos, I already knew my answer: Half-Life music is forgettable. So, so, so forgettable. I couldn’t think of a single bit of music from the series (maaaaybe HL2 when you get the hovercraft). I’ve…
One of those ethernet ports is for internet. So, you only have four useable ports for your internal network.
I just bought it, and am setting it up right now. Thanks for the heads up!

So, on the Series X, is that a green glow on the top? Or is it just green colored inside there?
Those are disc resurfacers. And somewhere else close by was machines for resealing discs. Meaning: I can’t trust “new” items on eBay anymore. :(
I picked this game up, and sat on it for months before playing it one Sunday afternoon. Ended up playing through it twice that day, and immediately ordered the soundtrack from iam8bit. This isn’t even the type of music I typically listen to! But I was hooked!
When Kotaku reached out to 505 Games about whether the Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 versions of Control Ultimate Edition would require internet connections or employ the compression methods used on the PlayStation 4 disc, the publisher declined to comment.
As someone that has over 400 physical PS4 discs, that’s not true at all. There are a lot of major AAA releases that are exactly as you described, but there are a good majority that require no patch, or are completely playable and NOT a mess without one. Those big, broken games are not the norm, they just make the…
I actually sought that disc out to use, as the PS2 doesn’t have a good way to reformat a memory card and start it over fresh. Well, it didn’t until that demo.
Really sucks for those that found this out the hard way.
I hope this does well enough to tell Nintendo we want a full game with pre-made racetracks and multiple cups. That would be amazing! And co-op multi-player could then only require using other controllers that would also work with other games, rather than requiring new race tracks and new switches.
He’s not wrong, though.
Honestly, thought I was going crazy, as I kept hearing it, too!
Any luck?

2003 logic? You can either have actual direction of camera control, or you can have tripod camera control, that’s all. I need to break myself of 20+ years of reverse Y axis FPS controls so I can go back and enjoy some games like this one...
Same! It’s one of my favorite games, but the controls make it very hard for me to go back into.
