“How/where is the Tea Party making dangerous in-roads in our govt?”
Yeah, that’s what I do, too. Fortunately, my chances of being hit by a piece of a plane that was knocked off by a lightning strike initiated by a meteor passing through the cloud is higher than my being killed in a “home invasion”, so I’d rather be more worried about that eventuality. :)
No, it makes you a fairly normal liberal. Most liberals I know own guns.
He didn’t kill those people with heart.
Yes, because the Free Market Fairy will come in and wave her magic wand. Everyone then will have the resources to purchase the more expensive food, the clouds will part, and the sunshine and rainbows will stream from the heavens.
Yeah, it’s really not. There’s a lot of bullshit about how people are imperfect angels, and we should trust them to do the right thing because “business”, but that in no way answers my question:
Considering Zapier and IFTTT merely augment what’s already in Google Calendar, I think you missed mine.
Which is essentially what this is. Zapier is similar to IFTTT, but in the same way a pencil is related to a tablet. I eventually dumped IFTTT and now pay for Zapier instead. IFTTT was overpriced at free.
So, your argument is I should focus on manually doing easily-automated tasks, rather than the tasks I actually need to get done, and that having a tool that’s designed to take some of the workload off my shoulders is dumb?
Yes, obviously the issue is with me. You’re the one incapable of answering the question, even with all the pointless bloviating on your blog, and the problem is me. Typical libertarian.
No, I understood it fully, that’s why I gave it up. When you get out of high school, you’ll probably do the same.
Okay, I read it. Answer’s not in there.
No, I really don’t. I outgrew that libertarian crap decades ago, so not interested in reading it again. I was just interested in seeing if you were capable of understanding the question, and forming your own opinion rather than regurgitating someone else’s.
So, you don’t know the answer, is what you’re saying.
“Government regulations negatively distort the profit motive to make the incentives toward harming people.”
First thing I thought. I can get them for $1.50 each at 7-11!
Oh, well, good luck with that, then. :)
So, two suggestions: First, Portable Apps. My company has the Google Chrome Store blocked by default via policy, so I can’t get extensions. I downloaded a copy of Portable Chrome, got everything installed and configured at home, then copied it to my machine at work. Oingo-boingo, good to go. Only drawback is it’s a…
A bit rambling, but a better response. Thank you for taking the time to try and put some effort into it.
Wow, with a rapier wit like that, all you need is a horrible hair cut and you could run for President.
