I know, right? Like, I know this guy, wife, two kids, house, etc. Then, the 2008 economy crash, and they’re both out of work. They found something else, but only after their unemployment ran out, so they took whatever they could find. The wife up and dies (because neither employer offers comprehensive health care,

Perhaps you’re not selling the right thing? I’ve dabbled from time to time, but only had real success when I actually believed in the product I was selling. I didn’t need to make them have fear and doubt, I truly believed they’d be better off with the product.

Unless, of course, you have a solar array on your roof like some people I live with...

Yeah, you’re generally a smart guy. A bit surprising to us, too. :)

Yes, because the open source community has yet to produce a product that can match it.

“where the hell are you letting your son ride that he had an accident in which is head hit the ground?”

So, are we sure the bike thieves aren’t just engaged in a disinformation campaign to get folks to use the locks they can get into easiest? :)

I believe that feature exists even in the free tier. However, from what I recall, they put OCRing stuff in the free tier at a lower priority.

Really? How do you figure? How much effort does it really take to put a kid in a rear-facing car seat? Oh, right, none, because they’re already in there.

Fuck your sanctimonious, ignorant self. No one’s suggesting putting children in cocoons, except bafoons who prefer to jump immediately to the reductio ad absurdum

“I drive a Ford Focus, so it’s not even like I’m driving a small car.”

“I can’t imagine how such a thing would fit in a normal sedan...”

And, there’s the “I don’t have a clue how the world works , so I’ll mock anyone trying to keep their kids safe.” argument. Didn’t take you long, did it?

A lifetime ago, I was out of work and on unemployment for about 9 months. Unfortunately, even after trimming out everything unnecessary from my monthly expenses, I was still paying out $1700/month and my monthly benefit amounted to $1600/month. Since I was already $100/month in the hole BEFORE buying food, I applied

It is. When looking for a therapist a few years back, I’d found it helpful to ask if they used it, and immediately rejected any who did.

I've actually just started looking at getting a Bluetooth speaker this week, so your timing's perfect. Excellent, thanks!

Then Cocktail Party Guy asks me how our dogs are, and I answer, before pivoting the conversation back to work ...It is not impolite. It is not inappropriate. But it is still, at least in my mind, sexist.

I’m here for ya! :)

You haven’t debunked anything, only provided examples that issues exist today. Now, please, to confirm you’re actually right that’s more dangerous today, please provide a listing of all of the violent incidents that were a result of using the classified ads in the past.

As these features roll out, I'm getting more interested in Keep. For me, though, I like the ability to be able to add notes by sending an email to Evernote or KanbanFlow. Can I do that with Keep?

I think it's the poor SMS & MMS integration that slows folks down. When I was on Sprint, being able to use my Sprint # as my GV number was the only benefit of being on that carrier. Now that I've dumped them, GV isn't as useful to me.
