This is very sad. I worked in the medical field...Her being an RN doesn't mean she is immune to getting sucked into conspiracy theories. Being an RN doesn't even mean you're smart or compassionate.

There needs to be a 100% nationwide BAN against spanking, slapping, beating or otherwise physically assaulting children - no exceptions. It must be shown that this is totally unacceptable, and it must be shown by drawing the line at any level of violence against children. Leaving room for “just a little spanking”…

That guardian should be investigated for child abuse.

I don’t think you could have a prouder moment than turning yourself in because you fraudulently obtained some medicine for a poor and sick child.

But Brock Turner got no jail time for raping an unconscious woman. Good old American Justice. 

What you see here hinges on whether you believe that “Make America Great Again” is a dog whistle meant to unite racists, misogynists, and homophobes under one umbrella, or you’re delusional and don’t care about people who aren’t white men.

Though kids don’t usually have a choice about what high school they go to. I’d feel bad for the few good eggs in a bad place.

I’m hoping “covington high school” becomes a black mark on all college and job applications.

They are rightly getting the public outcry and outrage they deserve. I’ve been following this on Twitter and wrote to both the school and the Covington Diocese. These kids didn’t just spontaneously become racists though. All those hats and t-shirts were likely purchased by their parents. I’d love to know how they’re…

Ugh, white people are the worst...

Dear girls: you are under no obligation to be nice to someone who creeps you out. You do not need to date a guy just because he says you're the love of his life. And you do not have to "give him a chance".

That’s how I feel about those videos of kids/dogs/whatever being surprised by their dad coming home from deployment. Not sure what kind of porn that qualifies as, but it certainly feels like it’s helping prop up the military-industrial complex.

Poverty porn is a new term to me but so accurate! I am so sick of the news clips showing the lines of “underprivileged” etc kids/families being trotted out to receive their gifts/turkeys/whatever.

When will people learn that racism doesn’t require intention? That lets like 90% of racists off the hook (which is the point, I know) since they almost never consider their actions racist, no matter how clearly racist they are, and therefore can’t intend those actions to be racist
