Obviously the Russians hacked his account to sow the seeds of discord among us. AND THEY STAY THERE! AND THEY STAY THERE!

lol do people do this? yo if you’re a non-black person who is comfortable enough with rap cadences to rap along with them, you should be comfortable enough to NEVER rap the n-word, or any similar-sounding substitutes. don’t do it, don’t substitute it. leave a pause where it’s at. it’s fine and easy.

So because she says all feminism, you get super upset and make it about race? She wan’t trying to make it about white people being included.

“Kathy,” lol. You’re the Skipper to Becky’s Barbie.

Oh god. You are a problem.

She replied to herself twice and still accused you of trying to get tge last word 🤣😂

And they enjoy hating her more than they enjoy supporting or promoting the story of a victim.

Sadly, one of many voices for that white, rich, privileged generation.

As a woman interviewed by the Root said earlier this week: “Racism is white people’s problem. They started it. They need to fix it.”

Ban-hammer falling in 3… 2… 1…

I’ll never forget how POC writers here who push back against white women get vilified disproportionately here. Both Kara Brown and Prachi Gupta face this the most. The comments on articles about white women at the Women’s March and portrayal of interracial relationships in media were complete cesspools.

Why? Why do you still need her to specifically speak out to you? Why is there always a caveat when Black feminists or feminist of color do something because you weren’t included. Welcome to it.

A lot of those women saw themselves in lena and can’t grasp that they might be racist as fuck as well.

I appreciate this young woman taking a stance and possibly losing a paycheck in the process.

Lena’s brand of white feminism reminds me of Taylor Swift and Megyn Kelly. They pivot themselves as feminists when shit impacts them personally or when they feel attacked. They wield feminism to help themselves, not others.

The ways to overcome your trashness if  you’re a man who’s trash (and you probably are, we all probably are, I ain’t special and you’re not either) arethe same ways we ask white people to admit white privilege is a thing;

Thank you for this list and intersectional inclusion. I liked Tananarive Due’s African Immortals series and Jewelle Gomez’ Gilda stories. Also, magic realism in Gloria Naylor’s Mama Day and Teryn Williams’ Rose from the Bayou.
