What military is actually buying this? It can't be the US armed forces to any great extent, the ipad nor the iphone don't meet the criteria put in place for such a device right?

@gerrrg: Symantics. I think the man with the gun decides if it's coercion or manipulation, hah.

Does anyone else think eventually the human race will become convinced that things like "sleep more" or "wear these funny shoes" are actually how you lose weight? Then one day someone will propose something insane like running or lifting weights and THAT will become a new exercise fad.

Best case of consumer revenge ever: The P-p-p-power Book!

@a_of: "I'm pregnant."

Is this the kind of stuff people will find a thousand years from now and write papers on?

For those in the military video chat is a must.

@Lomig: You laugh, but fighter jocks CAN be that childish....

@Settings: Maybe for GS jobs or contractors, but for officers and enlisted you get paid the same crap pay no matter what you do.

@The Werewolf: Trust me, it's not that we want to. It's just that most Colonels are over 50 and still have enough trouble with outlook, so the phrase "cyber...." seems to roll off their tongue so easily. Military vernacular is a love/hate thing.

That's awesome, but I'm unsure my cat is smart enough to remember her cat box was relocated. I'd have to give her directions..."It's the hole in the wall next to the shower, and then you go down the tunnel and it's the first right, also it's pitch black so I hope cat's have as good night vision as they say you do

@shooga: No, the cat has a blow out and then you have to call AAA roadside assistance.

I was kind of getting peeved up until I read the last couple lines "You don't need to call your lawyer. Don't worry, you're boring." At least they had the decency to tell him that.

@mehal88: The larger one without the cover. My hands are entirely too large to use the small one.

I think this story may have been spung the wrong way. The manhunt did not being until the theif ran from police. It's not much different than getting pulled over. You don't use 15 cop cars to pull someone over, but should you speed away from that lone officer...well it's on regardless of if you where 5mph over the

I see the same kind of resistance that android recieved originally in the comments below. I'm sure Google will carve a nitch for this that you didn't even know existed.

The writers at giz show how sharp of tongue they have....I like this -not pulling any punches- style.

@Bubkes: That's very sad about the animals but the fire department risking their lives for animals, I would view that as going "above and beyond". It's something I'd LIKE to see happen, but I wouldn't expect it as a baseline service. (Not to devalue the life of an animal, I love my house cat, but that's the world we

@Grimfella: Outstanding! Marvel at the magestic water bear!

@FriarNurgle: That...that is a good point. If you attach some kind of cash value to what you are doing, then it instantly get's all the support needed.
