I absolutely agree. It was a traffic accident. Even if she’d been completely at fault, every single driver has done at least one dumb thing that could have killed someone but for luck.

Really looking forward to all the people who called her a killer in the last thread rushing in here to fall on their swords. One thing you can count on, it’s internet people who were motivated ONLY by their concern for traffic safety issuing heartfelt mea culpas and vowing to learn from their mistakes.

But they didn’t enter it lawfully. In most states, after a light changes green, the intersection has to be clear of traffic before it can be legally entered.

I think the fact that the Barsons also entered the intersection lawfully confuses things, and without video showing that Venus was already in the intersection well before the Barsons had a green light, it was probably easy to assume that she’d run a yellow or something.

It’s likely due to summer heat there are people having trouble. I’ve had 2 Switches at my house for extended periods in handheld and docked and I’ve not had a problem. They get pretty hot in docked mode sure, but I’ve never seen one over heat, a screen protector come away from the unit or anything like that.

As someone who just ordered a Switch this post definitely doesn’t make me slightly 2nd guess my decision. Nope, not at all....
