Event Horizon prequel now, pls.
Event Horizon prequel now, pls.
Bonus fun fact: His family came from the same village as Gandhi.
“HEY! I wonder what’s going on over at Io9!”
I get that you’re looking for a contradiction, but it’s honestly not always black-and-white, IMO.
So, like Thomas and Martha Wayne being murdered to motivate Bruce into becoming Batman would be an example of someone being fridged? Same with Tony Zuco murdering Dick’s parents?
If ever there was a case of “there’s only one thing that will turn the character as dark as we need him to be” though, this might be it.
Books like this are yet another reason I HATE crossover events.
I’ve been a set PA on blockbuster films. Pay was $10/hr with overtime after 8 hours. Assume 14-18 hour days, you’re looking at $170-230/day. So these estimate are pretty good, at least for that position.
all the numbers for all the VFX positions are wrong, most of them wildly wrong.
Last I read, the VFX guys were always fired before even getting their paycheck.
Only one issue so far but it required almost no knowledge of other Marvel stuff.
i love this movie, classic
Besson at his best. Full stop.
I named my cat Milla because of this movie.
I think the reason it gets a bad rap is because its a sci-fi movie that truly feel EUROPEAN.Its a great movie for the costuming alone( and don’t Forget “Multipass”)
Have you ever watched Barbarella and The Fifth Element back to back? It’s one of the best double features.
Some of these movies, while silly, still are brilliant. Besson and Verhoeven are like the sci fi equivalent of John Waters and David Lynch. And don’t get me started on source code. One of my favorite recent films, period.
Event Horizon perfectly nailed what it was trying to do: A Hellraiser movie in space with the serial numbers filed off. It doesn’t belong on the list.
Sorry, but The Fifth Element and Starship Troopers knew exactly what they were doing and did it well. They are not examples of “so bad it’s good.”
You know if I’m embarassed by the way fans are reacting it’s bad. I’m the guy still bitching about him fighting no actual Nazis in the movie (and I’ll never stop!). Not just bad, but stupid. So. Painfully. Stupid. Did these same people think Steve was never going to Cap again after he was aged? That he would stay dead…
