They’re bloody amazing animals! We have come along way since Jar Jar:) I also like that this doesn’t conflict with the Disney film in my mind. This is more like the book, skinned tigers and all!

Speaking as a bi-man with a history of body image problems - i can assure that I find Henry Cavill (modern superman) both gloriously attractive and woefully depressing! It’s such a ridiculously sexy outfit he wears - like the comics it’s essentially just different coloured skin. (drapery is always a bugger to draw:)

My folks just had their 47th wedding anniversary - they fight all the time. Always have. Yet they always keep talking until it’s all out in the open and they can start to fix it. Trust me, it’s led to some days where it’s just impossible to talk to them because they’re still in the middle of something - but it works.

That’s a great idea! I liked the idea that it had a really risky tone, a mix of scary and funny. Sadly it seems that most plebs think that all comic based films have to be only one tone - as if its a genre. I’m loving that we have a range of tones - I loved Batman v Superman and I loved Ant-man. You can have both.

Really looking forward to this one Charlie! Just like Man of Steel it seems the more divisive a film is, the more polarizing the reaction is, then the greater the chance I might enjoy it as opposed to just letting it brush past like moving wallpaper.
Had a couple of thoughts from reading this -
You’ve already decided

Just stick a ‘in my opinion’ in front of whatever the hell someone types and it’s all ok - everybody wins and nobody falls out. I mean this chap who got to watch the film for free is no more qualified to have an opinion than anyone reading his blog post. Personally I am really looki... actually, who gives a fuck - why

Oh man, why did you have to remind me... so sad. so very final. sniff.

Oh man. I remember actually crying when I read that the first time. Didn’t stop when they introduced the white Sandman. Just so inevitable and heartbreaking!!! Good choice!

Yes. Hell yes. This contest is over:) Thank you for posting this.

Dear god you are so right. How this was missed is astounding!!!

Oh Lordy I hope they make an alternative non-Jeremy Renner costume/face comic cover variant figure - then it might be the ultimate Hawkeye/Ant-man mash up! (thank you for posting that cover:)

Well before the whiny brats turn up to shout about how one film they haven’t seen is better than the other film they haven’t seen, Charlie you’ve written up another wonderful reason to see both of these films. Very different and yet very similar. We live in great times to be fans of comics these days - I get to see

One of my all time favourite Carpenter films and an excellent, scary, funny film. I also think that Sam Neil gives a fantastic performance in this. The amount of times when you’re watching that he just expresses how you’re feeling - the sheer ‘fuck that, this is insane’ is just fabulous. Well done for giving this

I couldn’t agree more. I think the clue is that these are really just ‘blog posts’ and nothing more. Hell anyone can make blog posts - even shit biscuits like me. I think the problem comes when these ass hats start to believe their own fluff and gas has any more importance or legitimacy than the rest of us. You’re

*Never trust fanatics to tell a good SW story.
*Praises a SW story that was made by some extraordinarily talented and experienced artists who really know their craft - who publicly stated that they want to make a good film first.

that

No, I wasn’t implying that you weren’t an adult - just poking fun at the folks that take anything with Vin diesel in - or for that matter anything from Hollywood as serious. No offence intended. Oh and a good excuse to post about a really worthwhile charity:)
Peace and love.x

This seems like a strange creative decision in my opinion. If you go with the logic that it was Mr J that brought out her insanity and somehow ‘made’ her do terrible things then surely being ‘free’ of him could only have a few conclusions. She might suddenly experience horrific levels of guilt for all the terrible

They’re two different films with completely different tones. If you’re aren’t in that particular mood then don’t watch it. There are plenty of vibrant depictions of DC characters, not just in current television shows but in the variety of shows (both live action and animated) that have been broadcast throughout the

Yay, Adam and Joe! Man I loved that show. Adam does a live show that’s well worth going to if you can - it’s called BUG. They were both so far ahead of the curve on so many things.
Adam is still making amazing eclectic things - here’s one of my favourites...

It was a great year for pop art and entertainment.
There’s a few things that I’d offer up a slightly different perspective on though - and I mean no disrespect.

It was a GREAT year for sequels. Star Wars, Mad Max, any of the Marvel films, conclusion to the Hobbit, etc. Hell even Evil Dead has come back with what is
