Then we should encourage him to eat more cheesburgers.

It wont end after 4 years if he’s still alive.  There’s zero chance he’s giving up the throne before he’s worm-food.  We’re lucky if we’ll even get actual midterm elections in 2 years.

The fucker has to die at some point. And the last images I’ve seen of him haven’t painted a rosy prognosis.

And here’s the thing — the tariffs might be 25%, but you’ll be shocked to know that companies will raise them by 35% (or more), just because they know that most stupid Americans cannot do percentages. So they’ll collect an extra 10% on the backend but blame the entirety of the increase on the tariffs.

I have to take care of myself mentally before. We did this for 4 years. I can’t another 4. So I’ve checked out.

The fools don’t realize that OPEC can just cut production and let prices stay where they are. And US oil companies aren’t going to spend billions to build new capacity or cut prices assume sort of gift to consumers. Methinks Mr. Orange and his supporters don’t really understand how the world economy works.

It’ll be a hollow victory as the blame will just be placed on anyone but the person responsible.

Even the minister who said the prayer at the inauguration has launched a crypto coin, $LORENZO. The money changers really have taken over the temple.

I’m up in Canada and I can say there is plenty of nervousness here about what’s to come for the US.  Unfortunately we are tied to the US in more ways than we care to admit and will ultimately suffer right along side you as Captain Creamsicle does his worst impression of a president.  This will be a long 4 years ahead

The thing about price increases and corporations is that when prices go up, they rarely(if ever) go down. By the time ‘US manufacturing catches up’, us Americans are so used to the higher price that the corporations will just leave them high and continue to rake in profits. Tariffs are terrible for everyone except

Same. Since November I’ve done everything I can to avoid watching the news as well as being more selective about what I read, simply for my own mental health.

Now they have pivoted to “yes things will get more expensive for a little bit but that’s only until US manufacturing catches up.”

The biggest problem with that is the people who wanted this are too stupid to know why things are more expensive. They’ll be blaming Biden/Dems for the next 4 years for anything that goes wrong while praising Trump for anything that goes well in their life. Any real correlation or causation will be completely ignored.

Just wait until Canada cuts off oil exports to the US and the price of gas jumps a dollar or two.  Try explaining to your uncle that he voted for that.

I can’t wait for the tariffs. The fuckers that voted for him deserve it.

I couldn’t quote production figures, but when Eagles were in production, I would swear 85% were wagons, 10% were hatchbacks, and the remaining 5% were sedans and coupes.

Perhaps that’s why Mr. Invulnerable is using the cold weather as an excuse to have the oath of office given inside.

I came here to recommend these. Life is better when your vehicle is reliable. (Honda owner.)

That Cayenne may be a nice ride, and probably has more bells and whistles than anyone knows how to use - but are we overlooking the glaring red flag this is “Reconstructed Title”??

At least around here, good luck getting it registered without jumping through a bunch of hoops, and then enjoy dealing with insurance...
