It isn’t a metaphor for the future. It isn’t even our actual future. It is our present.

Yall need to start deriving some sub 100k cars my dude. What am I a fucking Rockefeller over here?!
I’ve always wanted to do this, but with an original 80's Caravan. Keep the plush velour seats and all and make it as sleeper looking as possible, but with an unfiltered exhaust note. Pull up to school to pick up the kids and watch all the confused faces when you light it up and hear the rumble.
One of my neighbors had a brilliant idea for a paint booth — go to walmart (or a garage sale) and buy a cheap 2-man dome tent. You could set it up just about anywhere — the garage, yard, hell, even the living room if you’re single — and it will keep things dust free and contain the overspray. Put stuff on a lazy susan…
Money talks after all, do you think Musk gave Trump $277 million for his health? America has the best politicians money can buy.
You’re looking at it from the wrong direction. The news isn’t about someone popping out a dent.
Basis transportation in good shape under 100,000 miles and under five grand. Easy nice price here, good car first car for a kid, or adult with not a lot of dough that needs a car. Sport decals are goofy, but kinda in the who cares category, you are not buying this because you want to impress anyone, you are buying…
Great first car for a kid. Even the goofy decals would look perfectly at home in any high school parking lot.
I thought they resembled a miniature Ioniq from the side, which is not a bad thing:
I’m a big fan of simplicity. Works for me.
This is far more easy on the eyes than the Rivian front end. I really like everything else about those cars, but I can’t help but seeing those droopy DRLs as a children’s toy or sad robot
Hate to say it but agreed. I had the sister car, Impala. Mine was bulletproof reliable other than the slight oil burn. Ran it for 9 years, tires and oil.
I love it! Sell it at the low 20's and they’ll fly out the door. This type of car was what VW should have rolled out instead of the ID.4.
I mean, the association is a liiiitle weird, I’ll grant you that, but I’m OK with it.
The problem is that if they had used my preference in headlights: A single round ome, it would have looked like the Honda E.
By itself, I’m not crazy about the front or rear (the three light circles on each side are a bit odd). But, as a whole, it works.
So Lawrence: this or the new Civic sport touring hybrid (putting aside the AWD availability on the Prius)?
It is an improvement. But it needs to move to EREV extended range plug in hybrid with no transmission and a large enough battery for one pedal driving. And a slightly larger hatchback version for Lexus. Also see new Honda Civic & Accord drive systems
It’s a terrific looking car, but I feel it should have a little less rake to look its best, let alone for interior room.
I was shocked at how bad the fake leather was in the one I sat in - similar to Tesla’s terrible vinyl.
