On the distance of AM radio - when I was younger I lived in Alberta - about 1000 miles from San Francisco, but every night due to the skip signal I could tune in to one of their AM news-talk radio stations.

The French haven’t done many truly fancy cars, but this is one of them. Plus, that dashboard is simply lovely. For the right francophile wallet: NP.

The two door versions of the FV cars are drop dead sexy. This four door version is as drop dead as you get with a 50s four door. Yet four doors, high dollars, don’t care. NP.

There’d be a lot less surprise in that. Cops are all over musclecar-lookin’ rides like Marauders. Insurance companies charge you big time because those cars are theft bait too.

always wondered why they didnt do that, or put another transmission in. The modifications have to be cheaper than what they are paying for this whole mess.

Shows some family love from the oldster that the new kids never inherited (faces stuck in video games).

How’s the visibility with that crazily raked A-pillar?

I would buy the Michelins because they have a cool looking tread, I am 41.

Don’t forget about that cool tunnel under Las Vegas! Hyperloops are heading your way shortly

Is the plan to buy your competitors at overvalued prices and tank them too?

The F-150. in a perfect world, it would be the best selling truck in the country, a small category of vehicles populated by vehicles that are used for work.

Same. I want nothing to do with Tesla’s culture, and—frankly—its lackadaisical attitude about development gestation and QA scares me.

When I’m stuck in traffic behind a Model X, I amuse myself by checking out how badly aligned the thousandaire doors are at the top.

I’ve witnessed multiple Teslas (S, E, and X) that groaned and squeaked horribly while stopping at a stop sign. It’s unacceptable in any new vehicle, much less anything at that price point.

It might help if you could actually make it easier to get a new Toyota.

Notes on the Audi Avus Quattro

This one sticks out because I EXPECTED it to be awful. Last year my brother and I flew into see our family in TN and landed in Nashville. As its cheaper to fly to Nashville- as in a LOT cheaper- we decided to rent a car to get us the rest of the way. I always rent the crappiest cheapest cars because I don’t care.

So

We can dream, but the reality is nobody wants a manual anymore. The public wants mobile infotainment systems. Earlier this year, we bought a used 2020 Corolla SE sedan with only 35k km on the odo. I was able to negotiate a substantial reduction off the asking price (already under the MSRP of a new one) in this

No one mentioned the Volvo V60 or V90? I know Volvos were never common with sticks - but man - the last great wagon should get one.

The American side is being anal about this. There are Pony Cars and Muscle cars. The are different in DNA.
