Thinking about my 1979 Olds i just realized the nephews on this site will never know what its like to fill gas in from behind the license plate. that was a cool feature. Never on the wrong side.
This is the GT with the 2.0 turbo. It’s 165 HP, which was pretty good at the time. The transmission does suck, but it was available with a five speed stick.

I want a hatchback or wagon. They largely don’t exist, so I guess I need to consider CUVs because they are the closest thing.
Multiple car makers can go after the same niche. However, this is much more of a fun RAV4. The Kona is a full size down.

Option 2: Amber rear turn signals. Red rear turn signals should be banned in the US just like they are in Europe. I found out the hard way that my Tacoma is USDM only and there isn’t a European-spec set of tail lights for it so I had to buy a modded tail-light harness to move the lights around and get amber turn…
To tag onto this, the footwell vent that has disappeared. Those were great.
I’m going to say air conditioned seats. I had a rental with them in Northern Minnesota in December and still thought they were the bee’s knees. I could only imagine how good they would feel in swampy summer.
