LA, Miami, NY. Maybe. Those just aren’t cars you see much in the rest of the US since they cost more than most peoples houses.

I can’t think of any Buicks and Cadillacs that currently overlap platforms, but I could be wrong.

I like the Envista a lot. I just wish it had a different engine. 1.2 3-cyl turbo with a wet timing belt I can’t take a risk on.

Jalops hate on Buick but I think Buick has a chance. It just won’t be a Jalop car line.

yeah I can see Pentagon, Wash. Monument, and Capitol dome all from my balcony, so it is small consolation that if stuff goes down, it will be over for me very quick.

I’m in my early 50's. This is how it will be for the rest of my life.

I love these, but I’m not sure about this one. Why did they remove the trademark Volvo grille? and the badges? Something seems fishy. The interior is excellent though, most of these are trashed. No disrespect to the redblock, but I’d rather have a slightly more worn 780, then swap in a V-8. If I won a crazy lottery I

I felt the same about their gas Classic and Meteor bikes. Never wanted a motorcycle, but those are sharp.

Democracy? pfff. If I was dictator it would be a 64-66 Imperial Crown Ghia Limousine or a M-B Grosser.

But the back seat isn’t all that roomy. These must have seemed absurdly out of date by 1979. For 1980 GM came out with revisions to its “downsized” 1977 B/C bodies.

This. Also, I saw a Dodge Hornet for the first time in the wild last week. Hasn’t it been on sale for awhile now? I felt sad for the owner.

It’s weird. People HATED the square lens Wranglers when they came out back then.

I dig lions so I upvoted Peugeot below also.

I admit to exercising my white male privilege and jaywalk all the time, but my city isn’t quite NYC. I do it mid-block in front of my work, and it’s safer because the traffic volume is low on that block is low, I can see everything coming, and I only have to watch out for 2 directions not 4, and don’t have to trust if

I have only ever been on one cruise, on a cruise line which I will not name, and which is not frequented by many Americans or goes to typical destinations they go. The ships are small and spartan by US standards, uncrowded, and English is not the dominant language. That is probably the only cruise I’ll ever take

Is Nissan still with Renault? (I never think of Nissan) I’ve always thought the Dacia/Renault Duster, Jogger, Logan MPV could have US market potential.

None. There are enough trucks and SUV/CUVs that never leave pavement. But if we must play this game, I’d buy something like the 88/91 Civic Wagovan with “RT-AWD.” Sliding doors like a Mazda5 would be handy. Or just reintroduce the Element. I don’t like dogs but market it to dog people and chubby women who wear

I didn’t see Chevette on the list. It wasn’t that bad, it was just outdated and crude. A 1970 tech car introduced in the mid-70's, then persisted until the late-80's with almost zero updates or upgrades.

So apparently they had a saggy rear even when new.

To lower vehicle speeds in a school zone. Disclosure, I got one a few months ago in my city. I won’t be getting another one again.
