It does sound like she asked her supervisor who said to work it out with whoever she was working with and after 2 months someone had an issue and complained. It does not sound like this was a request and accommodation that was filtered through HR.

Yeah I feel like getting out of serving alcohol means getting out of beverage service entirely , which I doubt is anyone’s favorite job and seems to be a quick way to piss off all your coworkers. It also seems to be pretty central to being a flight attendant.
