I grew up in NJ we made the 13 hour drive to Saint John at least once a year to see my grandparents. We did also go to Disney twice once with my grandparents who drove from Saint John to Orlando.
I totoally took a nap on a bench at Verasilles . It was at the end of a long trip I started with my head on my friends shoulder with my eyes closed for a few minutes and it turned into a full out nap.
They have it at Eggspecation in Chantilly and Leesburg . They actually have a bunch of differnt eggs bendcit there.
It’s freaking me out because he looks exactly like someone I know who lives in NJ. I’m tempted to send him an email asking if he’s secretly a cop living in Iowa.
People making their lives look better than they are, is not a new thing either.
Years ago maybe 10 plus I saw the movie on cable and loved it. So a few days later I was in Wal-mart with my BFF and saw the DVD and bought it. I kept going on about the penis song. When we got home I bust it out to show my BFF the penis song scene and IT IS NOT ON THE DVD I was so very sad I naively assumed wal-mart…
Sooo much Scrabble.
As an American only occasionally in Canada I have been to friends’ cottages more than once. It id definitely a thing.
I totally agree with you. It’s not my marriage that make the drudgery it’s the BS of everyday life. And i am super grateful to have someone to share it with and make me dinner on the days it just gets too much for me.
I can see it as a marriage problem if your partner is always making messes that you have to then fix. I didn’t read the source article so I don’t know what the whole deal is. I don’t know some people who love to complicate their lived unnecessarily and I could not be married to them ever.
My husband and I have switched being the breadwinner several times since we’ve been together and I think it makes it so much easier when you’ve live both sides. Being unemployed made me see how unrealistic my expectations had been when my husband was unemployed.
Moving in with other people is always hard. Other people are fucking weird. And there are a myriad of things you don’t notice or realize until you’re living together. I remember insane arguments over the most asinine things like where we were going to put the garbage can and leaving cabinet doors open.
My husband and I were financially entangled before we were married I wonder if that’s part of the reason not much changed for us. We jointly owned our home and cars well before we were married.
I had the opposite experience we were together for 8 years before we married and our 8th anniversary is on the 29th. Nothing changed for us. The issues we had before the wedding are the same or similar to the ones we have now. For the most part our marriage is easy but there have been times where it has been hard…
My marriage isn’t hard overall but at times it is. Those times generally match up to the times that life is hard in general. Sometimes life is a struggle and all the things that go all with are a struggle too. Sometimes however my husband is the one bright spot in a world of crap. I also think that people define and…
I loathe people who organize books by color.
I’m with you. I hate having strep throat but my tummy really hates antibiotics.
I’ve been several times as an adult. Part of it revisiting something I enjoyed as a kid. Some stuff is directly aimed at small children but there is plenty for adult as well. We go to Disney World for the food and wine festival at Epcot in the fall.
After my grandparents retired they took along trip driving/camping across Canada. One day my Grandpa come wandering back to their campsite and sees my Grandma trying to tempt a bear closer to the site with a candy car so she could get a better picture of it. My Grandma has lived in the city for 40 years but she should…
