DEFCON 1 is imminent nuclear war, DEFCON 5 is everything is normal. The highest we've ever been is DEFCON 2 during the Cuban missile crisis.

I think Wegmans has the grinding machine as well.

Out of the red, being in the red is a bad thing.

Exactly last night I came home feeling like shit and went right upstairs to lay down. My husband cooked dinner and cleaned up down stairs. A few hours later when I came down to get my breakfast and lunch together for today he jumped up and helped me. Not traditionally manly but was caring and helpful and way more

My Mom is from New Brunswick so I have random bits of her accent mixed in with my generic NJ one.

I get that about being from NJ until I say coffee or water.

The cut off for the student loan deduction is $155K AGI for married filing jointly. I'm not feeling too bad about the extra tax you're paying. I'm in the same tax bracket as you and pay a fuck ton of taxes but I also have a nice paycheck every month so it evens out to me.

Yeah the only way the math works out for that is either an extremely high interest rate or no payments in the last 10 years.

The largest scholarship I was offered was from a private school but it still ended up being much much cheaper to go to a state school that was offering a lower dollar amount but a much higher percentage of my total tuition.

Not all school in the US cost that much. I graduated in 2002 and went to a state school with in state tuition with room and board was around 10K a year. I had scholarhips from the school and other sources for around 20K total for all four years so instead of 40K for 4 years it was 20K. My parents paid what they

My brother and sister in law did this. My plant was dead in a month but my Mom still has hers.

Except you know the govt made an announcement they found a glitch last night and the overnight shutdown for maintenance was extended for a few hours.

I never had chicken pox as a kid and got the vaccine when I was 16 a few years after it came out. I've been around kids with chicken pox and my husband with shingles since then so I assume it's working. I'm grateful for it since it's not something I would want as an adult.

or shitting on your pillow.

and babies. I love buying babies and dress forms.

I can image what life must be like for a lot of people but I also don't go off talking about how much harder my very privileged life is than theirs because of x y and z.

Nobody , even the temps and interns in my office or any other I've worked in, works 9-430. We are all here at least 8 , really 9 if you count lunch, a day. When I had a job where I left at 430 I got there a 730 or 8 and only took a half hour lunch. I don't think your hours are very common in an office environment.

I'm not a big fan of talk therapy , it doesn't mesh with my personality, I've had much more luck with CBT. Regardless of the type therapy is work the end result is to make you feel better but the path to get there is hard. All the crystal energy healing stuff is easy, you sit there and someone esle works and then

I'm just gonna sit here and be grateful my doctor spends way more than 7 minutes with me at an appointment and continue to ignore the fact she uses emoticons when she sends me emails.

I spent my teen years on the boardwalk and have had my palms read tons of times. It all bullshit. They would guess something right now and then but it was 90% just wrong.
