And that’s totally fine! People are just weird about this one specific show for who knows what reason. It doesn’t have to represent the *entirety* of nerd-dom, but for some reason people give it that. And, I mean, I dunno. Sheldon and Amy’s close moments are always kind of touching. Because he acknowledges how hard it must be for her in the relationship because he’s so different.

I dunno, I think it started out that way but there have been some storylines that made the female characters more interesting. Penny finding a kickass job and then getting an audition for a big movie and Leonard freaking out about the possibility of her success, Howard wanting kids and Bernadette refusing to give up…

I’m sure that this episode is going to be funny as hell, but I hope that it’s so funny that I pee myself(yes, I am willing to wet myself). I want Sheldon to require a sex contract and I think that it’d be even funnier if he had to refer to a book or even something online that’s written from a medical point of view or…

There’s a lot of hate for this show here for some reason. I too like it.

I feel the same way. I’m a giant nerd and I don’t see why my brethren feel such hatred for it. I get that sometimes the writers get nerd references wrong, but give me a gaddamn break. We’re weird, that’s why we’re nerds. It’s okay.

I know it’s popular to hate this show, but geeze guys, its a sitcom. I don’t watch Gilmore Girls to get answers to hard hitting questions either.

It’s the failure to imagine again. People like to laugh when someone comes up with a ridiculous idea about how terrorists might strike and want to defend against it. Then when something like this comes out of nowhere they’re like “How did we not see this coming?”.

I think the worst part about this is that those on the far right what it to be Muslim extremism, while those on the far left want it to be homegrown Christian extremists. Both sides were practically wringing their hands like a Bond villian waiting for the details to come out.

News has changed. It’s not about informing any more. It’s about hoping something happens to push one own’s agenda. It’s starting to get ridiculous on BOTH sides.
