The fleet manager still has to answer to the GM at the dealership. If the GM doesn’t want to sell the allocation of “Super-HypeMobiles” for just MSRP, they won’t.

When I worked dealerships and our competitors would offer a deal like that I would get some amazing phone calls.

I moved from Denver to Va Beach area and saw one of the dealer groups offering that, my first thought was that one of the GM’s girlfriends was a student at nails college. Then I saw several other dealer groups doing it and had a major WTF moment.
