My wife had a base Vue with the 4 cylinder and a CVT when she was in college and law school. I tried to convince her and her dad to buy the one with the V6 since it didn’t have the CVT and it had the Honda engine. It was the slowest vehicle I had ever been in, but the gas mileage was very good compared to the pickups

This is a pretty awesome looking key fob.  I was completely unaware of this.

Is the key fob supposed to just be on its own? That looks like it will get scratched to hell in a week next to the other keys on the ring. The leather wrapped one posted for the Kia Stinger looks way better.

This is what I’m hoping for this season.  I’d love it if McLaren was fighting at the front of the grid, even if they didn’t win the championship.

Wow, that sounds extremely frustrating.

This was one of the best gifts my dad ever got me.  It has saved me a lot of headaches.  It is especially helpful when you just end up ordering the fastener online instead of hoping that someone has it local - think a specific finish or length w/ the right head you want on it.  Saved me a lot of trips.

Wish there were more games that supported android controllers.  I’d play more of them if they did - I can’t get used to virtual buttons on action games.  Is that one more supported than the generic Chinese ones?

I have zero desire for one of these kei vans, but I do think a kei truck would be pretty excellent. There is a Lowe’s, autoparts store, and Walmart within 2 miles of my house along A1A. The speed limit is only 35 mph now - one of those trucks would work perfect for getting those errands done.  I could probably fit it

Doesn’t it normally go Bullitt then Mach 1 in their release? I swear they did this before.

It is a crime we didn’t get that wagon here.  Every now and then a modded one in Japan pops up on my instagram feed and it makes me sad.  I know it won’t sell well, but man, that car looks awesome.

2001 M5.  I sold it so we could remodel our kitchen (replaced it with an E36 M3 sedan, so I still had a fun car).  Even my wife wishes I didn’t sell that car.  I did eventually get back into an E39, a wagon this time.  I love the wagon more than the sedan shape, but I really wish I still had that M5 engine.

Keep up these articles!  I have a pretty well stocked tool kit, but I appreciate getting the heads up on a random tool that will make my weekend projects go easier.

A Z3 w/ a 3.0 is the best version. Engine is lighter (aluminum) vs the S52, but with similar power and you don’t pay the M-tax. Comes with bigger rotors than the other Z3's, too.  Definitely get one with sport seats, the base seats are absolute garbage.

I like the wheels w/ that green.  And unfortunately, I think you’re right about where this is heading...

My friend that was taking his M6 on track events shifted to a Cayman S and is now using a 911 Turbo.  Seems like a natural evolution there.

The bronze accents aren’t my thing, but at least it isn’t hideous like the M3/4 now.

It’s about 200 lbs heavier than an E39 M5, with 200 hp more. I knew some people that tracked their E39 M5, but I don’t know if I have seen too many M5's after the E39 on track much (though a friend of mine used to take an M6 out on track for a while).

Saturn is a good suggestion. It was sad that they seemed to be hitting the right stride at the end by just bringing over cars from Opel/Vauxhal.

As long as you can store a 3rd car, I am fully with you. Especially when a trackable car can be bought pretty cheap. Quick list of cheap fun cars: non-M E36/E46, Z3, NA/NB Miata, RX-8, late 90's thru early 00's Mustang GT’s. I’m sure there are a ton of cars I’m missing. Just keep the mods reasonable (like the ones

My oldest son (Ayrton) roots for Romain Grosjean for some reason. Think it is because he liked how the Haas cars paintjobs looked. Since Button’s retirement, my youngest (Jenson) now roots for Ferrari, which is pretty painful to watch. Oddly enough, neither of them roots for McLaren like their parents, but I’m hoping
