So I see you have owned a BMW with an M62 engine.

If they’re not going to just straight copy the Germans here, they shouldn’t even bother!

So when will the Genesis line fully mimic the Germans and make a wagon version that will only sell to 10 people?

Our Publix has it by the bacon.

I love pork roll, egg, and cheese on a hard roll or plain/sesame seed bagel. For the longest time, I could not get pork roll in Florida (moved here almost 20 years ago after high school) and would only get it occasionally when a family friend would ship us down some with the kielbasa from our favorite place in

While I went into this article thinking that 13 should be the limit, you have made a good case that it isn’t bad for older kids to go out and enjoy trick or treating. However, the costume is still required, even a half assed one. That is their half of the Halloween social contract. I will uphold my end by drinking in

Don't disagree there, but most cars share their bones with other models. There are worse places to start from.

The GT-R is too well engineered to be considered a type of SEMA project. When it was around, it would equate to a Viper more than a Hellcat.

I don’t know if I’d say that. While this 370Z build is like the the Hellcat stuff, Dodge at least builds and sells their SEMA projects to the public.

I think that’s the mistake here - we don’t need theoretical OCD clean person here; we need the practical person who has had some experience doing a project in a less than insane manner.

Working on your vehicle in a driveway is perfectly fine, just make sure to keep it somewhat organized and make sure to protect the car from the elements when you’re away from it for 5 weeks. Seems like a good thing to do to make sure you don’t run into stupid problems later that are of your own making. And cheap

I need to change my answer to what I’d do with a billion dollar lottery jackpot...

Race series with my friends. We’d start with Miatas and work our way up from there. Probably blow a few million that way.

This is very true.

What were the problems you had? Ours was a pretty basic E53 model with the M54, and it wasn’t until the last 6 months that things started going down.

Your mother does sound pretty awesome.  That’s the most Jalopnik way to approach car shopping.

This really is a good news story - put a smile on my face learning Chuck Yeager is still alive.

This does depend a lot on the car. My 540i wagon will get anything done to it that it needs to keep it on the road - there really isn’t anything else that appeals to me like it, so it would be worth it to me to pay a majority portion of it’s KBB value in repairs (not regular maintenance) to keep it on the road.

Rovals are great - especially for the fans. It’s nice to be able to see the race, not just a single turn or two.

Animaniacs is awesome. I am very happy to share that with my boys. Also, Batman The Animated Series is still fantastic. That first episode with the Joker still stands the test of time. That show is still the best moving version of Batman.
